I actually looked for rooms months before our trip to Munich for Oktoberfest. This was one of the few places under $300 and close to the city center. The taxi had difficulty finding the place and our friends that live within walking distance did not even know of this place. The hotel has basic amenities. Simple room and bath. Room... More

Hotel Domus was recommended to us by some Munich friends who live nearby, and whose family and friends often stay there. We've stayed in many European hotels over the last 20 years, and our stay at the Hotel Domus was one of our best hotel experiences ever. The staff were without exception very friendly, competent, helpful, and English-speaking. Our room... More

We stayed at the Hotel Domus for 15 days and were very pleased with the hotel. It was pretty quiet. We were on the courtyard side and the only downside is there are apartments across the courtyard and sometimes people sit on their balcony or in the courtyard and they can be a little loud. There is also a restaurant... More

Stayed here for a 8 nights on a business trip. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice walking distance from city center and all what I needed and all tourist attractions. Breakfast was solid with nice breakfast area. It's not a modern hotel, more classical decorated, but have everything what is needed. Also... More

Stayed here a few nights on a business trip. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice walking distance from where I need to be and easy to get to. Price was also very fair. All in all a good choice.

I saw lots of keys on the board. the hotel was not booked but... More

My wife and I have stayed here 3 or 4 times previously, although its been 6 years since the last time. The hotel is located in a nice residential area, close to the Lehel underground station, and quite close to the rear of the Bavarian Government buildings on Maximilian Strasse. There are a few quality bars nearby. The hotel is... More

Excellent hotel in Munich center. Metro station almost near the door (2-3 min); 10 min walk to Marien Platz. Very silent street with some very good restaurant. Rooms not small at all and very cousy. Pesonal very polite and friendly. Excellent breakfact for such class of hotel.

As others have said, this is a modest, older hotel. Service is polite. Location is on a quiet street--except during the day when the children are in school across the street. Rooms are small but have a nice balcony. Breakfast was solid, but I was very disappointed they didn't have weisswurst. As an American, my biggest challenge was the lack... More
