Hotel Eder is best described as a budget hotel with few frills. The rooms are basic, there is no lift and the wifi seems to work at dial-up speed at best, with only one device allowed per room. If these things are important to you, then you won't enjoy staying here. The rooms were simple and quite spartan, we had...

We were looking for a nice, comfortable, clean hotel with a personality that could accommodate a family with children and not break the bank. Hotel Eder did not disappoint! I can only reiterate what others have already said about its convenient location, helpful staff, cleanliness and value for the money. Personally, I much prefer this type of hotel with more...

It was conveniently situated in a quiet side street close to the main railway station, and a short walk to Karlplatz and onto Marienplatz. The underground was very close as well. Very convenient for food. Well situated to any day tours departing from either the station or Karlstadt. The hotel was very clean and the staff all very friendly and...

The room is super as there are beds for all 4 of us and still plenty of space for us to walk about. The counter staff is great, They help to guide us to...

I decided to try out a locally family run hotel and chose Hotel Eder because of the proximity to the central train station (Hauptbahnhof). If you get off at the right exit, it is less than a 5 min walk to the hotel. At first, I thought that the hotel would be quite loud because of the several casinos located...

We walked here from train station ( about a 5 min walk). Staff were quiet and unobtrusive which we like. With no lifts and three very heavy bags we had...

Firstly the location was very good, close to train station and only a minutes walk to Karlsplatz. The rooms were a good size, clean and had a nice bathroom. Sadly there were no lifts but that wasnt too much of a problem. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The reception was open 24 hours. The breakfast was excellent; lots of meat,cheese,cereals,fruit...

The hotel itself was very good. the room was large for three people, and it was very cosy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, varied and delicious. The location is excellent; two minutes' walk from Hauptbahnof - Munich Central Station, and one stop away from the beautiful Karlsplatz. one downside was the lift,as we had to...
