In my opinion it's about location location location and this hotel cannot be beat. Tucked away in a charming area but only 15 minutes walk to the market and main square, this place is worth staying in. The breakfast is included in the price and is lovely- coffee, tea, meats and cheese and salmon, cereal, breads, fruit and yogurt, and...

Stayed at the very welcoming Hotel Opera with my partner and my 79 year old mother (1 - 3 April 2015). The hotel came recommended by a friend from Munich and it certainly was a great recommendation. The location is simply wonderful on a quiet street within 15 minutes walk to the Munich Residence and central tourist area (via the...

Hotel very easy to find, straightforward train journey from Munich airport by S Bahn and U Bahn, get out at Lehel for the hotel and its 30 seconds away. Very comfortable bedrooms, bathroom on the small side. Breakfast was elegant. Good location near all the sights. Cean and comfortable, boutique hotel.

The room looks like a bordel from the 50's... needs some serious renovation! The shower is funky most of the equipment needs replacing. The closet was taken from Harry Potter set... The building is beautiful as well as the common area of the hotel! Good breakfast!

Thank you very much for your comment. It is nice to hear that you liked the building and that you enjoyed our breakfast. To describe your room like a “bordel from the 50´s” is surely one of the most creative synonyms for one of our guest rooms I have read so far. Indeed, each of our guest rooms look differently,...

I stayed at Hotel Opera in January 2015 for a business trip. I really enjoyed a cosy, clean and quiet room (some rooms also have a nice terrace). The hotel is central, at walking distance from business, restaurants and shops. Prices are very reasonable, staff is helpful and breakfast really good and fresh. I would definitely stay at Opera hotel...

We spent two nights at this hotel. Hotel has good location, in the calm center, walkng distance from the main attractions. Small rooms, antique furniture, some parts of the hotel are really old and need renovation. But the bathroom is new and very clean. Beautiful breakfast. Choose room with a treet view or with winter garden.

I have stayed at the Opera on 3 different trips. The hotel is consistently welcoming, comfortable, and the staff is very helpful.
