We chose this wonderful place as a stop after a long flight, before heading off to Austria for skiing. Small world! Sebastian was an exchange student many years ago with a family not far from where my wife grew up. In Michigan! Very comfortable rooms and wonderful service. They all make you feel at home and are very helpful. Great...

My boyfriend and I were travelling around Europe for a fortnight, and out of the 5 places we stayed, we both agreed that Hotel Laimer Hof was our favorite. Sebastian and his wife are incredibly warm, kind people who will help in any way they can. The rooms and hotel are traditional but not eccentric and will leave you feeling...

We stayed in the hotel in March 2017. We stayed in a very spacious and comfortable apartment and had a very rich & tasty breakfast, all for a very reasonable price. The staff was very helpful and genuinely caring about making our stay in Munich enjoyable with many suggestions and tips !We would definitely come back next time in Munich

This hotel is nice and the location is wonderful! The staff is friendly and they all speak English, our room was clean and large, the beds were excellent. There are two nice Italian restaurants near-by, for one (Mozzamo) we had to make an appointment because it was full at 7 p.m., so we had dinner at a Greek restaurant on...

We had a most outstanding stay at Hotel Laimer Hof. As a family of four, we often struggle to find hotels with small apartments or adjoining rooms. Laimer Hof was able to offer us a family apartment that was enormous and perfect for our needs. With two bedrooms (I believe it had an option for a third bedroom), a full...

Very nice people, clean hotel and great location not too far from the Palace Nymphenburg. They went above and beyond in every possible way. Rooms are very nice too and great value. Definitely stay here if you visit Munich, Germany!

A really nice hotel a bit outside city centre. Best service ever from a passionate staff that will do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. Not a fancy hotel at all, but nice, clean and with extraordinaire service. Stayed a night and simply loved it! Marienplatz easily reached by public transportation. In a nice and safe neighbourhood.

This hotel is in a converted 1880s house, located in a quiet residential neighborhood about 7 miles and 5 subway stops from the center of Munich. It's right next to Nymphenburg Palace and down the street from Hirschgarten, the world's largest beer garden. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway, and a few minutes to a grocery store. The...

We stayed at this quaint bed and breakfast for several days and thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stay at this inn. The owners and the staff are exceptionally nice and friendly and speak many languages. It is quite impressive listening to them talk to guests! The breakfasts were very delicious and thoughtfully planned out to please many tastes. Our family...

I had a great stay here, my only regret was that my stay was too short. The staff and owners were awesome and extremely helpful in navigating the city and sites. If I have the opportunity to visit Munich again, I will definently book here again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
As a young family of hoteliers, Alexandra and Sebastian Rösch took over the Hotelvilla in summer 2003 and in the meantime are managing it as one of the most popular hotels in Munich, according to numerous evaluations by the guests. The neo-Renaissance villa was built in 1886 and is one of the buildings with the longest tradition in the town district of Nymphenburg. The Hotel is very popular for weddings and offers two romantic tower rooms for overnight stays. The location of the hotel is one of the finest in Munich, very close to Nymphenburg Palace, and simply unique. Europe's largest beer garden, the Königlicher Hirschgarten (the Royal Stag Garden), is only five minutes away on foot. Direct public transport connections to all the sights and attractions of Munich by bus, tram and rapid-transit railway can be reached from the hotel in only a few minutes. Free bike rental for our clients! ... more   less
