The tent in Munich is the best place i have stayed in while travelling, and that includes 3 hotels on the bill! We stayed here for 3 nights in the 100 person Tent and never had any issues, at 1 am it was lights out...More
Loved my stay at the tent! The place is an excellent idea and great value for money. I like that you can get a meal for only a few euros and very cheap beer. The only downside is that I think you should provide pillows...More
We camped here for 2 nights and loved it. There is a really relaxed, fun atmophere about the place. It would be a great place to meet people if you were travelling alone. It has a little bar, table tennis and table football; plenty to...More

The S1 and S8 go from the airport to Munich center, then there is the N17 tram to a stop approximately 5 minutes walk from The Tent. Not sure it is suitable for an 8 year old, doable but might not be the best location.
