A lovely and friendly hotel in a central location. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the hotel was clean with good facilities. The single room was very compact but contained all I needed. Flexibility to use the sitting area and bagage storage before check in and after checking out was much appreciated. Thank you

This hotel was in a great location right near the Marienplatz. The room was huge and it had a nice bathroom with a large shower. It is not modern in any way apart from the bathroom and the restaurant although that is part of it's charm. It is rather pricey for what you get, but part of that is because of it's excellent location. The breakfast was amazing, especially their staff (Ella?). A couple of small, odd things--if you take anything out of the buffet you were charged, and losing a room keycard would cost 25e--which seems excessive.

This is an over priced hotel with low value and amenities. The location is all they have going for them. We paid close to $300 a night for a tiny room, no a/c, no refrigerator, no toiletries. It’s a very bare bones place with a high price tag. The room was hot. We had to open our window and door to create a draft. To top it off, they have unreasonable policies. If you lose the plastic key, you are required to pay 25 Euros. This is excessive and an example of the horrible hotel policy. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Fantastic location, steps from the Marienplatz. One of the highlights of our trip was walking up the steps from the SBahn and experiencing the 360degree view of the Marienplatz ! We loved the room and the breakfasts. We especially appreciated the exceptional customer service: My wife and I both arrived with bad colds. Over the counter meds were not working fast enough. Multiple staff members arranged for an appointment with a local Doctor on a Monday morning. This saved our vacation. Absolutely would return next time in Munich!

My family and I had the most amazing time at this hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that we had all that we needed; expert advice on where to go, guidance on the local transport and they even gave us a detailed itinerary to support us in our long journey home. We are so grateful for the warm welcome, amazing breakfasts and superb location (a mere stones throw to the multitude of Christmas markets). Cannot recommend Hotel Blauer Bock highly enough!!!

Clean good size room, the staff was very helpful and service minded. Great place to stay central in Munich only 3 min. walk from Marienplatz subwaystation. Good restaurants close by, very good pizza at Eataly across the road.

This hotel is very well-located, a very short distance from the Viktulienmarkt and Marienplatz. The room (booked as a single) was very small, but comfortable and well-designed, with all you need. The staff were friendly and the included breakfast was good. The hotel operates a restaurant and I went there for dinner. I did not realize that it was Michelin-starred. It was very expensive . . . but that said, it was good. The server was lovely. When I said I didn't want dessert but would appreciate a little chocolate nibble, she returned with 2 tiny brownies that would normally be a garnish on one of their desserts. The wifi was a bit intermittent, but sufficed. I think the difficulty there was that the hotel is in a former monastery and the walls are thick.

Overall good, but the „cleaned“ beds had hairs and crumbs on them when we got to our rooms that were not ours. staff were nice and friendly, room was a bit cramped, and so was the shower. breakfast was nice, and the wifi was very fast.

The Hotel Blauer Bock is a great hotel in a perfect location. You can walk to many interesting sites, and there are subway stations and bus stops close by too. I had a room on the top floor. It was hot while I was there, and the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning, but I asked for and got a fan, which was sufficient to cool the room. The daily housekeeping was excellent. The room was always sparkling clean. The breakfast was amazing. The breakfast staff were kind and attentive too. I hope to return to Munich sometime soon, and if I do, I know where I’m going's to stay!

Spent a few days at the Blauer Bock during Wirtshauswiesn. This is my second visit to the hotel, as it is one of my favourites places to stay in Munich. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
