The key point is that this hotel is in a great location for exploring Munich and is far far cheaper than any of the major hotels in the centre. It is a reasonable hotel with good size rooms that are clean. The lighting in the rooms is fairly awful but as a base this hotel is great. Breakfast is also... More

My wife, I and another couple stayed here when visiting the Oktoberfest in October 2015. Not only was the hotel a friendly, clean hotel to stay at in Munich, the prices were very reasonable during the Oktoberfest. It is not a fancy hotel, but is perfect for a few day stay in the city. The location of the hotel is... More

Good value three star accommodation in a terrific location. The rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable. We were at the back of the hotel and our room was very quiet. The hotel is close to the main markets and the main square. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. The area was very quiet at night but I am... More

This is a nice, small property with very friendly hosts. It's quite close to the Viktualienmarkt and Eataly. If like us you're from a quiet suburb and not used to urban noise, a street facing room in warm weather may be a challenge. The night time weather was mildly warm during our visit, so leaving windows open was a must... More

My husband, 3 sons and I stayed in the family apartment on the 4th floor and found it very comfortable and reasonably priced. Great location just a block from Viktualienmarkt and Marionplatz. The breakfast was a traditional German breakfast with tasty cheeses, meats, fruit and pastries from the market. The owner was friendly and very tolerant of my dusty German.

The location of this hotel is very good. There is parking in a nearby garage for 18euro a day. It is a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel was clean. Luckily the room didn't match the shabby hallway. The room was clean and new with high ceilings. They also provided a fan which was much needed. The bathroom... More

This hotel was comfortable, clean, but a little noisy. The room was large and the shower was larger than some. Elevator is small but useful. Breakfast was a typical buffet of meats and cheeses. My complaint was that the coffee machine made one cup at a time. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. The location was terrific. Right... More

Even though this hotel was nicely situated and clean it was rather disappointing. It had good reviews but we found the reception staff, especially in the afternoon very offhanded and did not seem very interested. It was a small room and it was particularly hot when we were in Munich and no air con off course, well this is Europe... More

Really liked this small central hotel in Munich. Bedroom simple but comfortable, and of course scrupulously clean, and really well located close to city centre. Great continental breakfast in the mornings, but what made my visit memorable was the attitude of the front desk manager - she found me an adapter for my UK plugs, she pointed out where I... More
