The hotel is conveniently located a few metres away from the main train station in Munich. We stayed in one of the older rooms. Although rather small, we had a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly.

We arrived to a dirty, small room that smelt of BO. We were tired so we just jumped in the shower but it wouldn't drain so the bathroom flooded. We then complained and were move to an attic that had the same problem. While going back down to complain for the second time I noticed a "working girl" negotiating some...

My boyfriend and I were completely taken aback when upon entering the hallway leading to our room, we were greeted by the horridly foul (and lingering) smell of B.O. wafting through the hallways and into our room. The room was the size of a large closet and the dormered ceiling made it difficult to walk (or stand) in the majority...

Great price, great location. Small rooms but did not spend too much time there. Stayed twice during our break. Had doggy radiator in our room and it was fixed immediately. Loved the New Year's morning champagne breakfast in their sister hotel round the corner. Cheap hotel price meant we could treat ourselves!

We arrived the hotel quite late, about 8 pm, in friday night. We had reserved a non-smoking room and our mistake was that we had also paid it in advance. What we got was dark, dusty, smelling smoking room, with some kind of tiny plastic bathroom. We asked if they could give us the non-smoking room we had reserver, but...

Even with peep shows all along the street (part of Europe's charm), I never felt unsafe. The hotel itself was undergoing renos but my room was clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating (toiletries, maps etc). Good buffet breakfast and very close to main train stn. 15-20 minute walk to Marienplatz and the famed Glockenspiel.

We arrived late in Munich and had to catch another train in the morning. The hotel is in a very handy location (5 minutes walking from Munich Hbf station) where you can grab a late dinner easily. The hotel was in renovation so we were woken up at 8 in the morning by hammer noises. The room was fairly clean...
