We chose this hotel because it was close to the central station in Munich (Hauptbanhof). It's got to be said that this isn't the nicest of areas, but it's close to the centre of Munich. The hotel is in a street of hotels, phone shops and small cinemas, but its entrance is set back a little. On arriving, the class...

This is a win for me thanks to Trip Advisor! Was looking for an economical but comfortable hotel in Munich and booked through Trip Advisor. When my cab pulled up, the street view did not impress; however, that all changed fast. I was greeted by a lovely and friendly clerk and began to be wowed. Pros: price, proximity to all...

The Shiller5 sits just off the main street providing a little more quiet. The rooms were quite nice, and very well lit up like a lot of hotel rooms. The breakfast buffet was very well done, with choices for both Americans and Europeans. It's a great hotel if my husband likes the shower, and he loved it. Staff were all...

This simply is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, they really pulled out all the stops from the free mini bar (a selection of drinks including beer), to the superb breakfast, great shower and quiet room. Lots of other lovely touches like the owner asking us how we were finding our stay was, to the free mini...

We explore a lot. Sleep in the hotel, eat breakfast. Out the door by 9:00 am and back in about 11:00 pm. The Schiller5 is a perfect mid-range option for those who don't want to a spa-like stay. Pros: 1) Location next to Munich Hbh is fantastic. All you have to do is walk 5 minutes to get to a...

We stayed at this hotel for one nights while visiting Munich and loved the ease of access to the train station and size of the apartment. The service was very attentive and we appreciated the free water, beer, soda and juice in the mini bar. Would recommend.

We stayed two nights at the Schiller 5 Hotel. The hotel is good for a short weekend city trip. The rooms are nice and clean. Nothing special but for two nights its okey. The bathroom is very tiny though. Best thing: free minibar! ;-) The hotel is in the middle of München and in the nights you can hear the...

We stayed in Munich for only a brief stop over and this hotel was perfect. Great location right around the corner from the main train station and also rail station to get throughout the city. The hotel was clean, came with a full (complementary) mini-bar, and great breakfast buffet in the morning. Staff was very helpful and accommodating in making...
