I stayed for almost a week and it eas really comfortable. Neighbourhood is worth to be seen. Breakfeast is also very fine. Staff is very friendly. I can again go and stay without looking for an other option.

Small but comfortable room on the second floor towards the back (car park). The bathroom including the shower was also small but OK (no bathtub) with an electrical heater and timer. The blanket of the bed was quite light and short (the bed felt short too) and I needed to heat the room. Otherwise I would have been cold in...

After staying at two five stars hotels, we didn't find we needed to chalk it up at Hotel Thalmair. Our room was of decent size with all the necessary amenities minor a shower cap, body lotion and tooth brush. There's a fridge in the room too. The breakfast was delicious and of good selections. We didn't speak German and the...

I stayed in this hotel during a professional visit to LMU and found it t be very comfortable with good service. It is a bit of a way from Munich airport by train and underground, but the ci centre is much more accessible. It is very quiet at night. The facilities and decor are simple but sharp. I would highly...

Hotel is nice, clean and conveniently located if you are visiting the Grosshadern clinic (like I was). U-Bahn station is also close. Had a single room with a single bed; room was not very big and without much extras, so not a place you would like to spend much time. Breakfast was good and the parking garage big. I would...

I've stayed in this hotel a few times on business, the staff are friendly, the decor is modern and clean, and the location is good for accessing Munich centre of for dining locally. The breakfast is reasonable, but not extensive.

We arrived in the late afternoon only to find out that we had only put in a request for a room and hadn't finalized the reservation, oh no! The woman at the front desk was accommodating and thankfully was able to fit us in for the 2 nights, at the rate quoted in the request. The rooms were small but...

The Hotel Thalmayer offers modern comforts; however, the rooms are rather small and I had problems to open my very large suitcase in the space of their singles rooms. It maybe okay for a short business trip, but I would not recommend it for longers stays. In addition, they also have a sauna -- which was one of the reasons...

Stayed in this hotel whilst visiting friends in Munich. Good clean contemporary styled rooms with good bathroom facilities. Hair dryer supplied and great shower with good toiletries. Breakfast buffet good continental selection of fabulous meats, cheeses and rolls, with wonderful fresh fruits, cereals and yogurts. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay again. Close to local restaurants and coffee shops. Above...

We stayed in this small, well priced, newly refurbished family run hotel at the end of November 2013 while visiting our son who is studying in LMU in Munich. The hotel is about 20 minutes outside Munich City centre on the U Bahn in the south western residential suburb of Grosshadern, so their is nothing in this area for the...
