The hotel is located near the central train station within walking distance to the old city and easy access to the U and S-Bahn. The staff at the reception were polite and helpful. The rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. The hotel offers free wifi throughout the hotel. The TV in the room, although a flat screen,...

I was not over the moon about the InterCity in Wuppertal, but this one couldn't be faulted - if you need to be close to the station and the DB Museum. It had a comfortable bed, TV with BBC World (channel 36), wifi that worked (once you got it started - ask the receptionist!), a great easy-to-use shower and decent...

I was there for one night only on a late arrival by train and to be honest it was perfect - no fuss, good english and straight to the room all in about 20 seconds. The room was clean and smart, quiet for a city, and just what I needed - no frills but a good nights sleep and a...

From this hotel you can easily walk throughout the old town. Although my room was small (by American but not European standards) it certainly served its purpose; it was indeed functional, but lacked a room clock. The tv was extremely small (18"?). All of that said, I thought the price paid for my room was an excellent value. The front...

Stayed here for 2 nights at end of January. It takes a fair bit for me to get angry, but this place was a complete waste of money. My main issue is that the rooms are advertised as soundproof, but they were the complete opposite. My room faced the Hauptbahnhof, and when I asked to be moved to a more...

Dear Guests, Thank you for your reservation and your review here. Due to, that the hotel is located direct in the city center, next to the train station; it is not possible to avoid all noises every time. All our rooms are equipped with sound proofed windows and air condition. Also we recommend our business rooms, which are located to...

InterCityHotel Nuernberg, December 20 to December 21, 2015 Having previously stayed at Inter City Hotels in Frankfurt, Dresden, Erfurt where we had good experiences we tried the InterCityHotel in Nuernberg. This hotel is walking distance of the railway station (even with luggage) and is only five minutes by foot from the centre on Nurnberg. The staff were generally pleasant however we had a problem getting our passports out fo the room safe the morning we departed and found the woman who came to open the safe most unfriendly. It wasn't...

I was in Nuremberg for a major convention at Messe . The cost of available rooms left in the city was ridiculously high !!! intercity was the most cost effective option and I had very low expectations . The room was of good size ( not in North American standards , but OK for Europe ) Clean , spotless bathroom...

Spend 2 nights for business in OCT 15. The hotel is very dated and certainly worth the price. There was a quite unpleasant humidity smell in the room. But the worse was the appalling check in experience with an extremelly rude lady. Automated teller would have been more helpful. We paid 155€ per night for the level of a cheap...

As the title says, this hotel is next door to main station, close to city center. Will you notice? depends on your room. I learned, that for the same price, you can get a standard room, with view on railroad, trains sitting right in front of you. The windows are doing its best, you can hear them, but its acceptable...
