Detailed Reviews
The hotel in the picture above is not the correct image. This hotel is perfect for a city break. Just across the road from the underground station which you get straight from the airport, 3,2 euros each, each way. Only takes approx. 15mins from airport. This is really one step up from a hostel as it only has a breakfast area but everything is spotlessly clean and very quiet. It could benefit from tea/coffee machines in rooms or a hot drinks machine in the reception. Usual breakfast items, hams, cheeses, cereals, juices etc however on Sunday we also had a choice of Prosecco with smoked salmon (delicious). Everything on the doorstep, cafes, bar, shops etc and just a short walk from all the churches and town squares. Very close to the castle. Bridges are very pretty and lit up at night. Great atmosphere generally all round. As this was a winter break it was quiet on the Friday, busier on the Saturday and quiet again on the Sunday. If you want to do any shopping bare in mind that no shops are open at all on a Sunday only the eating and drinking places and then again not all of them so they can become busy. It's not particularly a cheap place to eat and drink. Beer seems to be the only thing that is a little cheaper than prices here. Wines, spirits, cocktails, coffee, hot chocolate are about the same as here. Food only approximately 10% cheaper. A word of warning, we were unaware that it has a red light district which we came across accidently while walking around the inside the city walls). Not a place you may want to walk through with young children or at night.

The hotel is located in the Corey centre, our room overlooked the courtyard and it was very quiet considering such a central location. It is a mid size hotel. The room was on the basic side ( eg no coffee/ tea making facilities), no slippers etc but it was very clean- especially bathroom - I have to say very rarely bathrooms are cleaned so well in the hotels. The windows can be opened so that’s a bonus for people who like fresh air. The breakfast had a number of options to choose from., I really liked scrambled eggs and their latte. All staff at the hotel were very helpful and nice. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Nuremberg.

We stayed at this hotel for few days during Christmas market and it was beautiful. The hotel is small but in a very good position! Breakfast was good even if they could add more sweet foods. The hotel is clean and staff is very helpfull. We’ll come back!

The room is so far clean, only the bathroom left to be desired as I found many women's hair in it. For the sake of cleanliness there were many other shortcomings. Furthermore, the internet was very important to me, which unfortunately almost does not arrive in my room.

I have no idea how this hotel gets such good reviews.. I visited here on the back of the good reviews from trip adviser and what a disappointment! We arrived only to be greeted with a " hotel closed" sign! Not good when you are in the middle of a town with no English speaking people and you have no idea what to do! There was a note on the door asking us to call a number to gain entry !? Luckily I brought my mobile! Good points.. it's clean and in an ideal location to the main square. That's about it! Other than that it's awful. We were on the top floor.. bathroom had sloping ceilings so you had to lie down in the bath if you wanted a shower!!?? Breakfast was horrendous.. basically a basket of bread and some cheese. If you were there early enough you could have the delight of a warm yoghurt which had probably been Left out for what seemed like days! No English TV channels and we'll over priced. Not as great as people make out.. I'm far from snotty but this was scraping the barrel somewhat.. there is a reason that they call nuremberg the most German of all German cities.. try learn some before you go or you'll starve to death here.

Stayed here with wife and two pugs in July. Only one night as we were on a tight schedule. Brilliant location for old town sightseeing by foot. Rooms are clean and quite, only issue was parking which is not possible on site and gad to drive to a multi-storey car park and walk back. Wifi in communal areas, great breakfast and friendly staff made our stay pleasant. Would return.

We got a great price for a family of four. It is right in the heart of downtown and the staff was friendly and helpful. Free internet, too, both wireless and through a guest computer

I spent one night in this downtown hotel and I was amazed.
Pros:
- the room was perfect for the purpose
- looked like freshly refurbished,
- was clean,
- no noises,
- the bed was comfy,
- the bathroom small, but spotless.
- breakfast included in the price - continental buffet with reasonable range - and makes the price really friendly
Cons:
- it was little tricky to find the hotel at first, since it barely has a facade on street level (one window)
- the common areas are just a little outdated, but all is well maintained
- no parking possibility on site, but there are a couple of parking houses around
I'd stay their again should I need a room for a night (or more) to discover Nürnberg downtown..

The location is fantastic: right in the historical centre of Nûrnberg, which was an amazingly pleasant surprise in itself.
However.
We arrived by car on a Saturday afternoon, and that is probably the worst thing to do at the worst time possible.
Nürnberg is fantastic:the historical center is also the main shopping area. There are thousands of people walking about in the streets and sittiing on numerous terraces enjoying their beer or ice cream, a friendly atmosphere, a beautiful medieval city.. what more could anybody want? I'll tell you what: a place to park!
Parking is sheer horror, and it the hotel would find a way around it (even keeping the space in front of the hotel reserved for guests, as it is supposed to,, it would increase my score considerably.
But enough of parking problems: the hotel is good, clean, I think "adequate" describes it well. It is a 3 star hotel, nothing more nothing less. I would not go there for an extended stay, but for one night it suited admirably.
Also the breakfast was very nice and adequate.

I stayed one night to attend a fair at the Messe. It was very difficult to find a decent hotel at a good price within reasonable/easy travelling distance. I looked at many hotels and the prices were very high and the locations difficult. The Garden Hotel whilst expensive for a three star hotel was chosen as the best compromise.
The hotel is small and accessed by a lobby off the street. A small elevator takes you to the 1st floor reception. First impressions were not so favourable as the public spaces were small and quite dark. The receptionist was really pleasant and helpful. She also made an excellent recommendation for dinner. The different receptionist on checkout was equally helpful and pleasant.
The room was small and basic, but very clean and comfortable. I slept well in the small single bed.
The bathroom again was small, but again very clean and with an excellent shower.
Breakfast was typically German and offered the usual cold meat and cheese choices. The breakfast room was pleasant.
The location of this hotel is superb within the delightful old city wall and a close walk to the Underground making the Messe very easy to get to. Also the hotel is on a quiet street yet close to the main squares and streets of the city.
Overall I would recommend the hotel based on its location and suitability for a one night business stopover.
