The structure is based on yellow and blue colors, very cheerful. The room was very spacious and very clean, with a small kitchenette.
The breakfast is certainly more than sufficient, I would say based a little more on savory than sweet, as is customary in Northern European countries, but undoubtedly satisfying.
Parking, very welcome, is free.
The rating would be 5 stars for me if only the structure had a lift, but for the price paid everything was definitely perfect.
I definitely recommend it!
Stephanie and Norbert both speak excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful or informative about their home town, offering suggestions for sightseeing, as well as recommended restaurants. The hotel lies just outside the old city walls and is not too far from the main station. When travelling from the airport, use underground U2 and get off at Plaerrer.
This is a lovely hotel - much better than the budget price suggests, ideally placed and the hosts were anxious that our stay in Nuremberg should be a happy and successful one.
Just 2 points to mention - I never noticed any lifts, so guests with impaired mobility may struggle -best to enquire in advance. Secondly, it's worth noting that the payment terms are cash only, with no exceptions, so don't get caught out!
5 minute walk to all public transport and 10 minute walk to the shops. Quiet location
We would definitely stay there again
We only stayed 1 night but it would be a great place for an extended visit. The living spaces were like a small apartment, very well appointed with all the amenities. Try it you will enjoy!!
This hotel is a fantastic hotel because it ticks all the necessary elements of a very good hotel:-
1. Excellent location;
2. Excellent value for money;
3. Extremely helpful hotel-keeper;
4. Great breakfast.
This is a very good hotel also because it is just a stone's throw away (about 5 minutes) from all public transport and a 10-minute walk from the shopping area. It is about 15 minutes (20 if you take it really easy) from the centre of Nuremberg.
The hotel-keeper was so nice and accommodating that it was a pity having to say goodbye. The breakfast was very good and nutritious and, needless to say, the room was spotlessly clean and excellently appointed. The interesting part of the room was, definitely, the smiley face on the bathroom fittings. Really cute touch.
The parking is extremely good and free.
I will definitely stay there again when in Nuremberg.
If you have mobility restrictions, you need to take into account that the building where I stayed does not have elevator.
good service - room was very clean, the food at the breakfast was good and plenty.
very good location: near the old city, silent, tram stop and local supermarket are just around the corner.
free private parking.
Downsides:
No air-conditioning
Stinky neighborhood
