Very friendly and extremely helpful reception at reception. Parking for the car in the back yard was also immediately available. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. The bathroom was very spacious with plenty of storage space and a walk-in shower. Everything was new and tastefully furnished. The windows are soundproof. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and left nothing to be desired. All in all a great hotel that is also close to the old town. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is in a very convenient position for visiting the historic centre, less than 5 minutes on foot. The managers are very kind and nice people. Upon our arrival they provided us with a map of the historic center explaining what to see and where to go. They also gave us information about the next half of our trip, very kind indeed.
The structure is based on yellow and blue colors, very cheerful. The room was very spacious and very clean, with a small kitchenette.
The breakfast is certainly more than sufficient, I would say based a little more on savory than sweet, as is customary in Northern European countries, but undoubtedly satisfying.
Parking, very welcome, is free.
The rating would be 5 stars for me if only the structure had a lift, but for the price paid everything was definitely perfect.
I definitely recommend it!

This was our first trip to Nuremberg and the hotel hosts, Stephanie and Norbert, couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Our room was very large and was complete with hairdryer, large TV, small kitchen facilities (including fridge, crockery, cutlery ...) and an en-suite shower room. The room was warm, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were in an annexe at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was served in the main part of the hotel in a large, comfortable reception room, where there was plenty of choice of continental breakfast items. There was also a large corner of the room dedicated to children, with toys and books to keep them amused.
Stephanie and Norbert both speak excellent English and couldn't have been more helpful or informative about their home town, offering suggestions for sightseeing, as well as recommended restaurants. The hotel lies just outside the old city walls and is not too far from the main station. When travelling from the airport, use underground U2 and get off at Plaerrer.
This is a lovely hotel - much better than the budget price suggests, ideally placed and the hosts were anxious that our stay in Nuremberg should be a happy and successful one.
Just 2 points to mention - I never noticed any lifts, so guests with impaired mobility may struggle -best to enquire in advance. Secondly, it's worth noting that the payment terms are cash only, with no exceptions, so don't get caught out!

What a great place to stay in central Nurnberg. 5 minutes walk to old Walled City. Norbert and his wife provided superb personal service. The parking was free and very secure in a locked personal Garage space. The buffet breakfast had something for anyone's taste and the coffee outstanding!!
We only stayed 1 night but it would be a great place for an extended visit. The living spaces were like a small apartment, very well appointed with all the amenities. Try it you will enjoy!!

...certainly not at this price.

This hotel is a fantastic hotel because it ticks all the necessary elements of a very good hotel:-

1. Excellent location;
2. Excellent value for money;
3. Extremely helpful hotel-keeper;
4. Great breakfast.

This is a very good hotel also because it is just a stone's throw away (about 5 minutes) from all public transport and a 10-minute walk from the shopping area. It is about 15 minutes (20 if you take it really easy) from the centre of Nuremberg.

The hotel-keeper was so nice and accommodating that it was a pity having to say goodbye. The breakfast was very good and nutritious and, needless to say, the room was spotlessly clean and excellently appointed. The interesting part of the room was, definitely, the smiley face on the bathroom fittings. Really cute touch.

The parking is extremely good and free.

I will definitely stay there again when in Nuremberg.

We decided on the hotel because of the location. The hotel was directly across the street from the old city. The outside entrance might worry you because it's back street location and plain appearance. The room was great with a separate bedroom and the breakfast was really good. The owner and his wife speak English well and are helpful.

This hotel is a small hotel run by a couple. In fact, they do not have a 24h reception however they will wait for you if you let them know in advance. The hotel is composed by two buildings. I stayed in a building behind the main one. The room was wide and clean. They only offer breakfast (no restaurant) and the only small issue is that breakfast is in the main building so I had to go out to have breakfast.

If you have mobility restrictions, you need to take into account that the building where I stayed does not have elevator.

Very warm and nice hotel owned by a husband and wife who are friendly, funny and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with fresh towels in the bathroom. The rooms and the dining room are in separate but in neighbor buildings. The breakfast was excellent and various. The old town-city center is in about 10 minutes walking distance as the nearest metro station.
