I had to book a hotel in Nuremberg at short notice during the Christmas market and a parallel fair. Accordingly, I didn't have much choice anymore. The location of the hotel is rather off-site but was acceptable to me as my appointments were not in the center and the bus from here went directly to my appointments. Tourists should choose a more central hotel. During the week, public transport users can access the main building of the bfw. There the hotel is initially poorly signposted. The check-in at the reception was very cool. In the room itself, the main room, as well as the bathroom was modernized. In the hallway there was an older closet. This could be locked because there is no safe. In the room there was a large, free bottle of water and at Nicholas a chocolate cous. The room was clean. Unfortunately, the hotel was very clairvoyant inside, which affected the quality of sleep. The first night I ate at the hotel. Value for money was very good. The staff were friendly but did not exude authentic Franconian hospitality. However, this was broadcast by the breakfast staff. There was little choice at the breakfast buffet during the week, but a little more at the weekend. But all the food was good quality. Criticism of mine here, that as in many other hotels, you are served a whole thermos of coffee as a solo traveler, which you simply do not drink alone. Another big criticism: From Friday afternoon, as a bus user, you have to walk a large detour through a parking lot and partly unlit footpaths, as the main building is then closed. The check-out went without incident.

Small, comfortable room in a quiet location
Very available staff
The only negative point is the parking, few places
Small bar open at 5 p.m.
Possibility of catering but limited menu
Be careful also not easy to find entrance to the road to access the hotel

I stayed here for four weeks in June/July 2008. The rooms are simple but very functional, only single beds from what I know. The en-suite is a wet shower room, there is wireless broadband all over the building available if you have a voucher from reception.

The staff are the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel/guesthouse. Breakfast is a real treat, fresh food and lots of it, there are laundry facilities available and the conference room are excellent. This is a great place to bring staff for training or meetings that you do not want interupted by the hustle and bustle of a city centre.

By public transport you can be downtown within 20 minutes, ten by taxi. The guesthaus is located close to the airport close to alot of commercial vegatable growers.

Perfectly sufficient hotel. Comfortable bed, clean room, tv and even a bottle of water on the house. Interior is definitely not nice, no heart, no Charme in the entire building. Breakfast is average and if you’d like a cappuccino you’ll have to pay extra. Location: you need a car! Nothing in walking distance. No need for a second visit unless this city is heavily booked.

In Nuremeberg when there is a fair hotel prices are extremely expensive, they ROB to the customers. This is not the case for this hotel, good value for the price, clean, big rooms and bathrooms and breakfast is OK. Staff is kind.

My advice: Dont pay more than 120 euros in hotels in Nuremberg, it will be a ROB !!!!
