This hotel is c25mins walk from the main bars/restaurants, it is in the dock area and it is quite industrial. Nowhere close by to eat dinner. Having said that the staff were helpful and our room big and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was adequate but no more.

We arrived later than expected and the kitchen was closed when we arrived. The man in the reception/bar made us dinner and it was delicious! The rooms were clean and big, and both the place and the people were very welcoming.

Whilst the owner was very friendly, the breakfast adequate and the room spacious, it was unfortunate that upon arrival the hotels windows were all covered with metal shutters. Add to that the constant heavy lorry traffic from the early morning together with an unpleasant walk along the river via the docks to get to the city centre, and the overall...

We had issues around parking when we booked this hotel because there are no cars allowed in central Regensburg and it's all the better for it. The hotel is a little anonymous looking and the location is a good twenty minute walk from the centre but we wanted to stretch our legs after a long day travelling. The owners are...

Nice Hotel, in a quiet but a little bit anonimous area of Regensburg. Large room , enough clean, bathroom clean but nothing of special. Good breakfast and usefull (and free) car parking. In the total it is a good hotel, but if someone look for the "downtown life" it is better to select something nuch more close to the city...

Hotel situates bit far from city center but still with walking distance. Very helpful staff and breakfast was ok compared level of hotel. Weekdays truck traffic due harbor area nearby. Rooms are quite big and beds are good to sleep. Also very clean and we had also quiet room on backside of the hotel. Toilet/shower also big enough.

This hotel is a bit out of the way and isolated from all else. The room was tidy enough. It is at least a 20 min. walk along the road and a path partly through a dock area to get to the Old City. You do get to see the River Cruise boats along the way. The obscure location makes...

We really enjoyed our stay this summer at the Hottentot Inn. Breakfast was excellent with many choices for healthy food. Owners are super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood which is a pleasant 20-25 min stroll to the old stone bridge in downtown Regensburg. The Hotel was a great stopover for our visit to...

O.K., the hotel is on the route into the docks, but whilst we were there traffic was light and the noise was minimal. The rooms are furnished as described in other reviews and ours was certainly very comfortable. The town centre is 5 minutes by bike - and a very big plus for us was bike storage inside the hotel...

This hotel is not in the most attractive spot, and is a fair walk from town. However the rooms are lovely, and the owners are very nice and helpful. They have a special locked room for bicycles, and they even have a laundry.
