This hotel honors his name. It is a very simple hotel in the middle of town. The rooms are confortable they have no amenities but they are clean and cozy. The breakfast is enough with fresh this and you can ask for special preparation. Near you find all the city center offers for dinner or lunch and the historical tours... More

Nice basic hotel immediately across the square from the Cathedral. Some rooms face the Cathedral directly. Clean. Front desk cordial but not overly friendly. Breakfast is pretty good but not exceptional. Easy walk from the train station. It's definitely recommended and might be the best choice in Regensburg, especially for the price.

We are an active senior couple. Easy walking from central train/bus and also very reasonably priced cab ride. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very central location within all major shops and sites. Most of all, a very reasonably priced room .Very clean and great elevator. Charming city on the Danube....a must see even in the rain.

Let's face it, Regensburg is a beautiful city and crowded with tourists. All hotels in the center are busy and pricey. This one is no different, the location right next to the cathedral is amazing and with the right room even offers direct views. Our room for my wife and myself was nice, clean and comfortable without being too spacious.... More

This was a nice "basic" hotel in an excellent location with ability to easily walk throughout the town of Regensburg. It's directly across from the cathedral (our room looked out onto the cathedral). The staff is friendly and helpful, there's an elevator so you don't have to carry luggage up stairs, the wifi connection is good and the breakfast is... More

We spent two nights at the Kaiserhof Hotel with no problems. The room was fine and the view overlooking the Cathedral was spectacular. The hotel is located right in the old town which makes it very convenient for someone who has mobility issues. Parking is a couple of blocks away in a city carpark. Could not get a Wi-Fi connection.... More

Just on the opposite side of the cathedral. We had an amazing cathedral view all day through - morning. evening, night. Can recommend our room on the 4th floor (411!). Cheaper then others with the same view, but perfect to see everything. Unfortunately there is no conditioning in rooms. And a bit noisy if the keep window opened at the... More

Central location in walking distance of the major sights to visit. However it was noisy at night. Our room was very small with the bed against the wall. Really great breakfast in an incredible room with a stone vaulted ceiling. The hotel is quite expensive and in addition there is an Internet charge of 3 euros.

Perfectly located for visiting the old city, cathedral etc. Parking is in a nearby car park so you need to drop luggage off first. The reception and breakfast rooms are authentic and characterful; our bedroom by contrast was very plain, slightly cramped, lighting a bit dark; however it did look directly onto the cathedral. On our stay the bells were not... More
