Stayed here on our way to Austria. Our room was in a separate building down the road about 50 metres from the inn. The rom was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was in the inn and was very good. Would stay here again if in the area.

We actually were put in the overflow rooms halfway down the street, the room was large and clean but you don't get any wifi and you have to go across to the guesthouse if you want anything. Be warned Dinkelsbuhl rings its church bells at 6 am in the morning for 15 minutes! It was quite a shock I have... More

We were put into the guesthouse which is about 50m from the main hotel. This meant that we had no access to wifi and had to walk up the road for breakfast (which was very basic). The owners didn't speak a lot of english and didn't have a map of the town to help us find our way. The room... More

We stayed here for 7 nights; our room was on the first floor at the front of the main building with a very nice outlook over the street in the 'oldstadt' area of Dinkelsbuhl. The room was quiet, and plenty big enough with 2 wardrobes for clothes storage. It was clean and tidy and we were able to make tea... More

We stayed one night whilst walking the Romantische Strasse. Reception was warm and friendly. Our rooms were in the guest house 50m further down the street. We were on the second floor and there was no lift. My single room was quite large, simply but comfortably furnished and very. My bathroom had been refurbished recently and was well fitted out.... Stayed 31 March 2015. Delightful old building in a lovely medieval town. Our room, at the front, was large and quite well equipped. The bed was a double wrap around base with 2 single mattresses side by side and each with its own duvet. A very clever and welcome arrangement. The shower was an 80 mm square which some might... Nice small Gasthof in the city center, near the smallest house - one of the sightseeing places in the town. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good prices for the rooms. The town itself doesn't look like all the others, you feel being in the ancient times.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Slovenia. We booked two double rooms both of which overlooked the street but proved to very quiet at night. The rooms were clean, tidy and quite spacious with tea and coffee making facilities which was a surprise bonus. The Goldenen Anker is tucked away in a quieter part of town... More

This was our second stay at the Goldener Anker in Dinkelsbuhl. Both times have been pleasant experiences. There are two separate buildings, one over the restaurant and the other slightly down the street. We have stayed in both locations. The rooms are very clean and the owners are very friendly. The gasthaus is located on a quiet side street so... More
