We spent two nights in Hotel Bergruh this November. I must admit that their website is a masterpiece of photography, congratulations. But in reality the hotel is rather outdated. The personnel keep trying to be nice, but apparently the waiters in the restaurant need some more training (also of their English). On the other hand, they smoothly arranged for us...

We had a double room for two nights. We wanted a place close to the castles, but not in the heart of Fuessen. The views were great. We were greeted with a glass of wine on arrival. Breakfast was a great buffett, and the dining options were great. The staff was very attentive, although a bit limited with English. If...

The hotel was located on top of a large hill, across the road from a lake, which some of the rooms overlooked. The decoration in the hotel was very Bavarian, until you went down to the spa, which was just plain luxurious. Everyone smiled, was helpful in the extreme and made us feel very welcome despite a miscommunication (my fault...

We were driving through Bavaria following the romantic road and for our start in Fussen I picked this place which turned out to be my fiance's favorite of our trip. There is a great patio that overlooks the lake where you can eat or have your welcome drink. Our room overlooked the lake and had a nice deck. Parking is...

This hotel was the best place we stayed in on our tour of Bavaria. It is not a 5 star luxury hotel and that is not what it is going for, but it has an amazing array of facilities and incredible staff. The location is 5 minute drive from Fussen Town and the hotel has great views over the alps...

This family-run hotel is just charming. Ask for a balcony room with a view of the lake. We woke up to about two inches of snow in October and a spectacular view! The staff were extremely nice (not all of them spoke English, but you can make yourself understood). Their breakfast buffet was enormous, had just about anything you could...

Staff was very friendly. Spoke English. Restaurant was great. View of the mountains and lake was gorgeous. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is pet friendly so if you have pet allergies, that may be a concern. Hotel had computer with access to internet in lobby.

We chose this on recommendation from tripadvisor website, and we were certainly not disappointed. The lake view room was a generous size, very clean and comfortable, and true to the name had a stunning view. Staff were very friendly, despite the fact we spoke no German. Most guests were German which is probably a good sign. We stayed one night...

This is the best place in the Bavarian Alps. The food is great Weissensee is a cool tiny lake town, which is in hiking distance to Fussen and the Castles. The lake is great in the spring and summer, and the views are perfect.

Stayed 3 nights from 9th October. Paid the extra to have a lake view & it was well worth it as the views from our balcony were outstanding. The room was a good size with a well equipped bathroom & plenty of storage space. Although we had booked B&B with Expedia,we upgraded to half board when we arrived as €17pp...
