The hotel seems very old and has an outdated decor, but it still is nice. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and gave up very helpful maps of the area. The room was of decent size and they gave us some complementary fruits in the room. There was a window which opened towards the mountains, so we got some good...

This charming little hotel in Fussen exceeded all our expectations. The breakfast was simply excellent and the dinner superb. Hats off to the chef!! Wow. We were really impressed, and after a hesitant start the staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. The walks around the hotel were also magnificent. What a lovely place!!

We stayed at the hotel between September 7th to 9th. The hotel is located in a beautiful environment in Fussen. The room was very big and comfortable although its designseems to be quite old fashioned. Breakfast was excellent with a big variety. Wi-Fi is free, but doesn't really work. In sum, a very nice and cosy hotel with family atmosphere...

Outside patio was lovely overlooking the park and it was quiet. This hotel is in desperate need of an update or makeover. Our room and bathroom were very basic but clean. No air conditioning which made sleeping impossible as it was 38 C. The single window was too small to let in much air. The wifi did not work except...

We have mixed reviews on this hotel overall. From the outside it looks very tradional and is set just outside the town centre In a park which is nice. We were told prior to booking that they had secure parking for a motorbike but what they actually had was a small car park around the back that was not secure....

I really enjoyed this small hotel while we were touring the Fussen area and the King's Castles. Our room was set up for three and had quaint décor, small kitchenette, full breakfast, nice size bath and a welcome platter with fruit. The restaurant was good as well for breakfast and dinner. I wish we could have stayed longer and would...

This charming hotel is only a short 10 min walk to old Fussen town, and it's location is truely magical. We went at the end or Feb/March and it was a winter wonderland. The staff are lovely, with good English, and a good selection for breakfast. Would love to go back in the sprint/summer and see the place in bloom.

My husband and I decided to see the Neuschwanstein castle. After reading lots of reviews for the hotels nearby we chose this one and didn’t regret about it. We have finally found a quiet place, so we could rest from the din of our city. The exterior of the Hotel was fantastic, as well as the surroundings. The interior was...

The location is really nice. The rooms decoration is a little old but the rooms have everything you need. The breakfast and the service were good. This place is highly recommended when you want to enjoy the castles of Bavaria.

We cannot speak too highly of this hotel. Situated a 15 minute walk from Fussen town centre, this to us was a plus since we were on the edge of very pleasant walking country. Our room was spacious, well appointed and brightly decorated, the breakfast was extremely generous (perhaps the best we have had in extensive European travels) and the...

“Tips: 1. If you arrive by train or bus, consider a taxi unless you are confident about how to get there. (Only 10-15 minutes once you know the way). 2. Beware of following the hotel sighs from the station as they are designed for vehicles, not pedestrians. 3. Consensus was it probably isn't worth the extra for a room with a better view.”
