Fusen is the home of the castles of King Ludwig and this hotel is set ideally for you visit them very easily. A short stroll also takes you into the old part of the town which is full of excellent bars and restaurants. The hotel is perfect with fantastic staff - don't bother staying anywhere else - this is the...

We checked into this hotel for the night prior to our visit to Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. This hotel was absolutely fabulous, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The location within the city is absolutely perfect, and the service of the staff is unmatched. We will absolutely stay there again if we are ever in that area. The only drawback...

We traveled to Fussen to visit Schloss Hohenschwangau and Schloss Neuschwanstein. The lovely Hotel Hirsch and the city of Fussen was a pleasant bonus. The hotel is a short walk from the train station. We found all of the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and unique. We found ourself snapping numerous pictures of the interior....

We are doing a 17 night Northern Italy, Switzerland, Germany trip and have stayed in some wonderful hotels but this is the nicest room of the whole trip! Very large and beautifully decorated in German motif with a fabulous bathroom too. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. And the Wifi works great. We could not be happier with this hotel. We...

My husband and I stayed here on our tour of Germany and it was great. The hotel was super cute. Our room was so adorable. And after we had done all our tours of the castles and were laying in our rooms exhausted from the hike between castles this hotel had the most English speaking channels out of all the...

Just returned from 4 night in Tower 3, the room was nice. Only one person at front desk was friendly, the rest a bit cold. This did not take away from our stay. Be aware they lock exit to roof deck at night, if there ever is a fire, one escape route is locked! Hotel was in good location for exploring...

This hotel was a good choice for our quick stop in Fussen to see Prince Ludwig's castles. It is a large older hotel on the edge of town that is closest to the road to the castles, as well as being directly across from the historic town center. The public areas have all of the charm you'd expect to find...

It was busy in Fussen and we took the last room available at The Hirsch. My Garden shed is bigger than the room we had, it was small, very small and the beds uncomfortable. We found it dark and miserable although the Staff were very nice. 115 euros for this room!

We only stayed one night here but would've loved to stay longer. Fussen is a charming little city and this hotel is an easy walk into town. We thought it would be noisy since our room overlooked the main road, but when we shut the windows it closed out most noise too. Everything was clean and we had a great...

Friendly, helpful service and large, clean, attractive rooms. Nice location in the lovely town on Fussen and very convenient to the two castles, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. We would definitely stay here again and very much recommend it.
