This is one of those classic inns where the owners make you feel like family when you walk in the door. Larger rooms are available for families. Great location with limited parking available. Rooms are quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent! Can't wait to revisit this one.

Wow what a privilege to stay in such a beautifully decorated historic hotel right in the centre of Rothenburg and with free parking! Our host was very friendly and the breakfasts were generous. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel and very comfortable. I would certainly stay here again if we return to Rothenburg.

We spent two nights in October. We arrived in the morning and were allowed to check in early. The hotel is in a very old building, which is part of its charm. It is authentic, but very clean and welcoming. It is centrally located within the walls of Rothenburg, and convenient to attractions and restaurants. There is a small parking...

This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The owner was very hospitable and kind. He made us a great breakfast and made us feel at home. The hotel is centrally located just 5 minutes walk from the city center. If you're going to stay in Rothenburg do book this hotel, you won't regret it!

This hotel and its management were superb. This is a very special hotel in a very historic and beautiful building. The furniture and details make you feel like you are living in the Middle Ages. The location is fantastic, and they even have parking. The hotel owner was a delight. He made us feel very welcome, including our little daughter....

We loved our 2 nights in Rothenburg with the hospitality of Walter and his 10 room inn. The breakfast was incredibly good - cooked meats and eggs, plus all the other standard German breads, deli meats and cheeses and more. The staircase is hard to negotiate since it is narrow, and there really is no Internet access. But, the hospitality...

Very friendly host. Older gentleman with a dry wit and humorous. We arrived early and left our bags while we asked around this wonderful Medieval City. When we returned in the afternoon our room (10) was ready. A very nice room with a comfortable feel to it. Large bathroom (which I love). Plenty of outlets to charge devices. However, you...

We recently stayed here as part of a Christmas Market trip. It is only 500m from the train station, within the city walls of this beautiful medieval city. A beautiful old building, stairs are a bit steep with heavy suitcase. Spacious clean room, huge bathroom, hand painted furniture. Friendly efficient staff - mein host was very talkative during breakfast! The...

Four of us stayed in this hotel in the old town of Rothenburg. The owner met us and offered us a delightful welcome toast. I'd read somewhere else that he looked like the wizard of oz, and I completely agree! The accommodations and breakfast we had the next morning were perfect for our visit. We had a small amount of...

This hotel is perfect for an overnight in Rothenburg! We stayed here one night with our two teens. Even though we arrived very early, our room was ready. We had a large renovated bathroom and two bedrooms. Very comfortable with lots of room and very clean. The hotel was very quiet which made for a great night's sleep. The location...
