Very cheap rate in off season between Fall and Christkindl Market. I guess the euros saved paid for dinner at the hotel-which was decent. However, no TV in English, not even CNN or BBC. The TV was a tiny old tube model and although you received a list of cable channels, but they just had a couple of local stations....

Cute hotel next to one of the main gates into the "porkchop" medieval town of Rothenburg. Walking path and parks between this hotel and the wall of the city. Nice outdoor patio, good food, comfortable beds and great staff. 6th time visit to Rothenburg and 2nd stay with Gasthof Zur Linde....greatly recommended.

Decent hotel. It's located outside the old city walls, but close to Galgentor, the entrance gate to the old quarter and all its attractions - sightseens, shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel - inside and outside - is OK. German cleanliness and neatness are felt and expressed throughout. But there is needed a couple of comments. First, the hotel building...

Besides the great location (one minute walk from the Old City), there is nothing more in this place. The service is below average. Asked for the double room, but we received a twin one. In reception we got into argument that we can move the beds together. The only problem was that the beds were fixed in the floor. After...

I booked a double room on Booking.com for 53 Euros for a double room, breakfast included, which was probably my best value in the entire European Vacation. The hotel have a very good location, only a block outside the main gate of the City. It is very old--at least 200 hundred years. My price was for the lowest of the...

Well positioned for a visit to the walled city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber we were made to feel very welcome during our two night stay with Andreas at the Gasthof Zur Linde. There are good parking facilities. WiFi is available at a reasonable charge via the T Mobile hotspot network and it operated at a good speed. Breakfast choices...

This hotel is very affordable and is a short 8-10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is a very short walk to the outside of this walled in city. From the hotel, you can quickly walk to the center of downtown (10-15 minutes) and you can reach the wall, which you can walk on top of, around the...

The hotel is right outside the gate of Rothenburg medieval town. It is very convenient to get in and out of the town. There is a big parking lot and a restaurant if you want to have breakfast or dinner there. The room is small but we are ok with it since we stay only one night. Although the bathroom...

“Both times I visited I didn't bother to reserve ahead of time. You will be handed two or three keys in different price ranges to select the room yourself. The new part of the hotel overlooking the parking lot are very quiet and bright. this hotel also caters to owners with touring bikes - a separate area for cleaning bikes is advertized at the check in counter; touring bike magazines are provided in the rooms.”

“There are 3 comfort levels, and you go up 10 Euro per level. Another 10 euro for a bigger bathroom might have been worth it. They will let you look at the rooms before checking in.”
