The family room we stayed in (#50) was fabulous! Very large with pretty furniture, 2 twin beds pushed together to form a large bed (typical for European hotels), 2 additional twin beds, 2 couches and a table for 4. Breakfast was cooked to order the next morning. The location is perfect and the staff was amazing. The staff was beyond... More

This hotel is sweet, authentic and clean. It's about a two hours drive from Frankfurt. The hotel has one teeny-tiny and very old elevator so prepare to walk up and down lots of steps. Also, no AC, extremely small towels, small twin beds pushed together to make a "King" size bed. The location however, is fantastic.

The hotel is very nice and kept authentic. The service is excellent and fast. I was guided to the garage by a staff member on off duty. The room had furniture with beautiful authentic designs. At the balcony a ashtray was available. Breakfast is of top German quality.

Stayed here as part of a tour with 40 people. Very organised and good service, great location. Rothenburg is beautiful – a lovingly restored medieval town with a gorgeous outlook from the town walls plus stunning architecture within. Being part of a tour at Christmas time we missed out a lot on what Rothenburg offers because it was both low... More

We stopped by for new year's eve on our road back to Belgium. I was immediately in love with the place. But that receptionist girl with blond hair and glasses... I mean we arrived and she told us my boyfriend could come and park the car by the entrance of the hotel. Then she was like if we want a... More

Enjoyed the charming accomodation in centre of medieval Rothenberg as part of Albatross tour. Dinners were fantastic and staff friendly. Breakfast was bland, cold and unimaginative. Rooms were beautiful with authentic Bavarian charm and the whole town can be accessed but the city ramparts that are maintained to give a romantic view of life within the city gates. Due to... More

Beautiful food and excellent service. Well worth a visit. Trout, venison, Apple strudel and amazing ice creams. Can't fault any of it. Excellent choice for all tastes with a fantastic decor and ambience. The staff were helpful and very attentive; can recommend for anyone wanting a filling meal in brilliant style.

This lovely family-run hotel is situated inside the walking precinct of the Old Town of Rothenburg. Our room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. It was spotlessly clean. A car parking area is just a few minutes walk just around the corner from the hotel. The continental breakfast offered cereals, fruit and a... More
