The bed as was not one large double but was indeed two single joined together with an isolation in between and there was no baby bed so it was not convenient for us to sleep with a baby in between us where there was isolation between two single beds. :-(

I've got just what I wanted: cheap clean room for a night close to the Tegel airport. The neighborhood is OK, conveniently close to the subway, S-bahn and, of course, the airport (which is going to stay in operation until at least the next autumn). The room is clean, but basic and not new. The bathroom is also clean. The...

We arrived late at night and had a problem in contacting the night porter, because the phone at the entry of the hotel didn't function properly, not one empty parking spot in front of the hotel and every day it cost us plenty of time in founding one. at first the apartment seemed nice, but in the morning we discoverer...

Great, friendly and helpful staff at reception. The apartment was reasonably spacious and comfortable. The lift is slow but hey, better than using the stairs. Parking is on the road outside but is free albeit limited by how many residents in the area use it. Two supermarkets close by. While I appreciate that it was a kitchenette we did not...

The hotel was very clean and since it was apartment-style it felt much more private than the average hotel. The kitchenette was convenient and the location was great - outside the city-centre yet very close to the bahn. Beds were very comfortable and staff was friendly. No complaints, would stay again.

Never book a family room at this place! There are other businesses in Berlin to use. This is simply a disaster. What could possibly be worse than travelling for 10 hours, reaching your hotel where you've specifically booked a room or apartment large enough for yourself, wife and two children, to be told that they've gone and let your room...

Located close to the airport, and 5' walk from the closest subway station. Friendly and helpful personnel. We had a studio in the old building; very clean, lots of room, sober but well equipped. Unfortunately also some minor inconveniences: noisy heating, curtains hard to open, safe not working, bath but no shower curtain, poor WiFi receipt. Still all in all...

Although this hotel might be in the middle or at the outskirts of Berlin, this has good connections to all places. Clean, neat with an amenable staff, this place promises less and delivers more. If you are looking for a no frills, basic room with kitchenette, this is it. I would definitely live here again since it was hassle free...

Wanted something close to Tegel Airport, but not AT the airport. Location was perfect, easy airport and city access. This is not a full service hotel, and although my room was not exactly an apartment, I did enjoy the kitchenette. Wifi refused to work the first day--the second day, I was magically connected. Great, since I needed to take care...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
