Stayed here with my partner for 3 days and couldn't complain at how tidy and clean it was! The room was lovely and perfect for the stay. The bathroom in our room was beautiful with great power shower too! If your going to book here look into breakfast as we thought we had it however didn't and would cost 12...

We had a flight delay and thus stayed one more night at this hotel. The reception team treated us really disrespectfully and nastily when we changed our reservation and requested an invoice in the name of the company. Not only they took 30 minutes to sort the math of the invoice, but they used really rude gestures and language.

Centrally located for underground and close to museum island etc. Clean, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. This was a good choice for us. Only downside was being in annexe rather than main building but not a huge issue.

Airport transport was fairly simple : As other reviewers mentioned, take the bus X9 for £2.80 and get off at Ernst Reuter Platz, I used the same ticket (validated it) to go to Spittelmarkt using U2. Get out from Neue Grünstraße exit and go right. It's less than 10 minutes away. Staff Reception at check in were very friendly and...

Located in a quiet and neat area (as all Berlin is), the hotel offers good accommodation facilities for a decent price. The room we got was not so big, but fair enough. Bathroom well equipped. Very good wi-fi connection. We got no fridge in the room, but there is a coffee appliance which helps you for cooking a tea, or...

Very clean. Professional service. Location is very close to U-Bahn, not right on top of the action so more quiet and area and easy to get to these louder areas if you want, a cafe on the corner and a restaurant opposite. All good with room. Quiet at night, a good sleep. Feels more like a business hotel than a...

The hotel is conveniently located close to the metro station on the U2 line. Easy walk to Stadtmitte, not in the crowd for enterteinment and nightclub. Rooms dize is on average, very warm in the winter season. Breakfast is abundant but you can find a good Cappuccino just crossing the street. I definitely recommend if you don't expect any things...

It was a nice and cozy hotel. Located in the centre and close to the train station so we could go anywhere we want. Also very close to Alexanderplatz and all the touristic monuments. The breakfast was delicious and everything made our trip very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The housekeeping came everyday and did a great...

The hotel is very well located, not so far from the highights of Berlin. Underground station and bus station are just about 5 minutes away. We asked for 3 beds and we got them! ( not 2 beds and sofa!). Breakfast was also good, but we were quite disappointed with wifi which was realy poor:-( I don't expect that anywhere...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
