We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the B Apartments and we stayed in the Fellini suite. A nice change from the standard hotels we have stayed in. It was clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The apartment was ideally placed for central Berlin and all the sites. The U Bahn was 10 mins walk at...

We stayed in the Michaelangelo apartment for four nights recently on a visit to Berlin. The apartment was perfect - it really was like a home from home. We had everything we needed, lots of space and it was so convenient having the fully equipped kitchen - including coffee machine! The location is great for exploring the Museum Island -...

We arrived to Berlin at Midnight and got the taxi driver to drop us off at B! Apartment. When we arrived we were shocked to find a big green door and no answer. We rang the owner and had a misunderstanding on arrive times. At this point we were looking at getting a taxi and going to another hotel. But...

We stayed (couple) at the Elisabethkirchstraße apartment. Excellent location - walk-distance to the Berlin wall and museum. This unit is two blocks from Rewe (supermarket) and two blocks from a wine store. The closest U (metro) station is only a few minutes away (650 m). Nice neighborhood, safe. We stayed at the top floor. Getting there with a couple bags...

We stayed in superior apartment on invaliden strasse, just 10 min walk from U Bahn station. Across the road is a Rewe supermarket and some nice local restaurants and bars. Apartment had all mod cons, was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the superior apartment and were very impressed and happy with our stay. Centrally located, 200 yards to the S Bahn, 500 yards from the U Bahn and a short walk to Friedrichstrasse. Ideal to base yourself for a stay in Berlin. The self contained apartment is on the 4th floor of a new apartment block and has...

The apartment is very modern and well equiped, well heated, very complete kitchen supplies and a good size bathroom. Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
