This hotel is only 2 blocks from Hackescher Market and only 2 stops from the main train station. The staff including reception and lounge staff are excellent and very friendly. A wide variation of items are included for breakfast including made to order eggs. Snacks are included all day - even sandwiches for lunch break. The rooms were large, very...

I have a very intensive travel schedule because of work, and I have to sleep away almost every second week. This makes me staying in so many different hotels around the world. My week in Casa Camper was an absolutely perfect experience: very helpful and amiable staff, spacious room, very functional, with an awesome bed, lots of natural light and...

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was pretty good, the location was great and the staff was really nice. There's food available all day long (included in your stay) and the hotel also has bicycles for rent. The hotel fitness center is right by the sauna so unless you enjoy super hot workouts then maybe plan alternative exercise.

Quirky boutique hotel, good / very good location about a 30min stroll to Brandenburg Gate. Local streets are a little downmarket - bordering on hipster, but safe and reasonably clean. Taxi direct from airport 30minutes / 26€. Room very nice - read the instructions to figure out the lighting and blinds. Very comfortable bed and the shower room is one...

Stayed here for a few days while on vacation and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the rooms were well appointed and clean. I loved the large dressing area by the bathroom and it was great to be able to get so much natural light in with the window there. Having access...

Hip hotel operated by Camper shoes. Funky touches, but not over the top. Situated beside the U-Bahn and a 5 min walk to the S-Bahn. The tram runs along outside. Amongst all the trendy fashion shops. Easy walking to Alexander Platz, The River Spree and Museum Island. The restaurant (breakfast only) on the 7th floor looks out over Eastern Berlin....

I love this hotel. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable. The designers have put the guests at the heart of their experience design and I love it. The location is great and the buffet lounge upstairs is great. Breakfasts with cooked eggs and pancakes are top notch. The service is great. With a great location and excellent value...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
