Extremely impolite staff. We stayed at almost 10 hotels during the last 2 weeks across Europe, of which I have to say this was the worst one. The T.V was not working. The bathroom was stingy . They had kept the same floor cloth even after cleaning on the second day. Its not worth the money you pay. The breakfast...

Located very close to Berlin Central Train station which serves local & intercity trains too. Convenient and can walk to most of sightseeing area in central Berlin. New & modern hotel. City Hop & off bus station is just a opposite and can grab bus ticket within few minutes from their interval. However , the rooms are small for three...

This hotel is centrally located right next to Berlin Central Station and the train is easily accessible. It is also within walking distance to the Reichstag and Teirgarten. We stayed in a room with 3 beds and it was quite cozy and small. Almost too small for 3 people, but we made do. It was quiet for us which was...

This is the second time we've used this hotel for a school trip and I would definitely use it again. The location is perfect - being 300 yards from the front door of the main train station means you save so much time getting around, plus the shops and restaurants/takeaways are open until all hours as in most German train...

Location was pretty great since we were coming from Hamburg- it only takes a few minutes to walk to the hotel from Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Tour buses were nearby and it was easy to get to main sightseeing spots.

Took my boyfriend away for a few days for his birthday and we stayed here. It was in a great location, easy access to all the main attractions. The staff were really friendly, they even had a luggage room where they securely held your suitcases if your flight was late in the day and you wanted to wander throughout the...

Stayed at this hotel/hostel on a school trip, very central and within 2 minutes walk (if that) to the main train station and buses, close to the airport as well, within half hour walk of checkpoint charlie, five minutes over the river to bradenburg gate and reichstag. Staff lovely and spoke very good english and very welcome to reccomend different...

I booked this Hotel (should be spelt Hostel) as it was close to the station and we had an early morning train. The pictures looked OK and the room was clean and acceptable , if a little small. The staff were ok but overall the place had a look and feel of a backpackers hostel and at night there was...

Found it online and was a great price for us. Location was perfect to grab taxis or jump on public transport. Place was clean and tidy. Staff helpful although a nightmare at times to get served at the bar/cafe area. Taxis cost us around €40/€50 euros from airport. Used this for convenience but sure the trains where a lot better...

Dear guest, thanks a lot for your lovely review. We are so happy, that you loved your stay. We are indeed very central, but if you want to reach the airport Schönefeld with a cab it's not cheap. We would have given you information how to reach the airport by train. We hope you loved Berlin. Kind regards MEININGER

STAFF. They are indeed not suitable to work in a hotel. They are somewhat OK to work in a back office operation. They do not have any idea of where they work, don't know how to smile, they simply don't care about their guests. They will simply check you in and give you the keys. That is all. Most of...

Dear guest, we thank you for being so sincere with your feedback. We are so sorry, that our staff crew wasn't at all friendly. We will talk with our staff crew definitely, because this is not what we want to hear from our guests. We simply are sad, that you weren't at all happy with your stay and we understand...

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There couldn't be a more central location than by the main railway station. Eight bus lines, subways and city trains and countless regional and long-distance railways meet here. The hotel is thus ideally positioned for exploring the whole city. The panorama roof terrace affords spectacular views of Berlin. Our international guests benefit from free WiFi and meet up in the lobby, hotel bar, guest kitchen and the gaming area in a relaxed atmosphere. What more do you want? ... more   less
