Elisa from reception was great. Small room w two bunk beds for 4 pax. Not much room left for 4 luggages. shower was clean but drainage was slow, could be due to hair stuck in e opening. Thin walls with many young travelers. Prank knocking on e door and running up and down the corridors. Good location and good pricing...

This is central and good value. Had double room on 8th fl. Only 1 elevator worked so got some exercise... breakfast good but quite noicy, but ok as the hotel cater to a younger audience than me. As I came by train, the location was very convenient, litterately next door to the Hauptbahnhof.

1. It was written a letter prior to arrival to learn about early check-in possibility. There were not any answer from the hotel. 2. The bed linen was dirty, we could not sleep because of scratching and we asked from administator a give us a fresh bed linen (at 2 or 3 am). And when i asked her to put...

Walking distance from the Haufdbahnhof (the main railwaystation of Berlin), this hostel is nicely organised. Don't expect a lot of luxery stuff: this is not the aim. You'll get a very good bed, no noise from the railwaystation (my room looked at the platforms and I didn't hear a single train), a basic breakfast, and the ideal starting point to...

I stayed with 2 friends in a triple room for a long Mayday weekend. (2 nights). Each of us paid £22 per night for a private room which was excellent value for money. There is a really nice vibe in the reception of the hotel with a lot of people socialising which was also nice. The location of the hotel...

This hotel was exactly as advertised. Right next to the main train station and within walking distance of many must see sights. It had a bath in the room, and all the necessitates, but the mattresses were horrible. All of our parties rooms had the same complaint, so that wasn't isolated. So many springs sticking through it was hard to...

Great service, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a 4 bed bedroom for women, for one night. The rooms are very clean, fully equipped bathrooms with hair dryer and basic amenities. You can have breakfast there for 6,90 euros, which is a good price for all the many choices they offer. Modern decoration, great place just...

We took a risk on this hotel - knowing nothing about it - because it had "quad rooms" (two sets of bunk beds), and was very close to the train station. We were not disappointed in our choice at all! Very fun and busy place. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable with a great view. The bathroom and...

This is an excellent hotel for business traveler who needs to hopp on the train early in the morning. The location is superb, right next to the central station and still quiet. The hotel is clean, not sparkling but very good, the elevators are a bittired and busy, there is no real food service. Room size is ok, no desk...

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There couldn't be a more central location than by the main railway station. Eight bus lines, subways and city trains and countless regional and long-distance railways meet here. The hotel is thus ideally positioned for exploring the whole city. The panorama roof terrace affords spectacular views of Berlin.
