Located just around the corner from an S-Bahn station and a short walk to Kudamm. Stylish, with a lively commons area and an attached burger/steak joint with friendly staff and quality cocktails. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in, ever. MId-range prices for a luxury boutique experience.

Good location. Great nights sleep in a lovely bed. Laid back, relaxed place with helpful staff. Lots of good restaurants in the area and the hotel has The Butcher which is really good too. Would recommend.

Visited Berlin for a short break at the beginning of Jan 17. Hotel is in a good spot on a main road in Charlottenburg, but noise isn't a problem. Plenty of variety of bars and restaurants nearby and not too far to walk to the main tourist areas (zoological gardens about half hour walk). Berlin's main shopping street (Kurfürstendamm -...

I liked the Sir Savigny immediately when I looked at the photo gallery on their web site, but the real place exceeded my expectation. The hotel is very well located, it is quintessential Berlin and the staff is very welcoming and simply perfect. They all speak good English and are customer-oriented. The room was comfortable, well furnished and quiet. i...

So, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a long time. When you check in you get a glass of proseco or orange juice. It is very casual sitting down at a big table with very friendly staff. And the rooms are awesome. The bed is very comfertable, the minibar is huge and as a bonus...

We stayed with Sir Savigny for two nights, one of his lovely crew members greeted us with a glass of bubbly while we had a seated checkin in the library of his mansion. Our room was not super big but you could see that Sir Savigny had paid attention to every detail. One night we had a lovely meal at...

Had a friendly welcome at the hotel from the "front desk" staff followed by a welcome drink. Our room was ready even though we came in a bit early. The room was a bit on the small size, however, it's very smartly designed so u get the feeling that it's much larger and u have everything u need. The bathroom...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sir Savigny, an entitled member of the SIR hotels family, breathes a creative spirit into the hip heart of the old West. His luxury boutique hotel is a gateway to Berlin's upscale Charlottenburg area, situated directly on the famous Savignyplatz in the City West's vibrant Art Nouveau district, with-in walking distance from the legendary Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's shopping oasis. Sir Savigny himself is a cultivated yet witty cosmopolitan culinary host for lifestyle travellers, locals and neighbours. He created the most welcoming environment with his stylish-yet-entirely-casual approach to design. Sir Savigny welcomes you in his kitchen where you can discuss the aesthetics of Fassbinder at his kitchen table, while sipping a Manhattan and enjoying a bloody delicious burger from his in-house kitchen, The Butcher. ... more   less
