The Weinmeister is ready good located in Mitte. Very nice friendly crew... but the rooms are small and for my opinion the design not my style. But if you like to sleep in a bed which looks big but in the end isn't and you have a good offer... go for it. Around the hotel nice places and stores. Specially...

Unique decor, friendly service, great location. Loved the firm bedding and showers. Strong, free wifi was a plus too. Note: check in isn't guaranteed until 4pm and there is little chance of there being a room that is ready before then so be prepared! They do however allow you to leave luggage behind the desk.

So much potential here, but behind a good idea the overall feel of the hotel is just not comfortable. From the oversize child like box that surrounds the bed, to the fact that there's a neon light on in the room unless you remove your key card to sleep, the spot is trying too hard to impress on a stylistic...

Nice concept hotel, great staff with perfect attitude. Would anyways not really recommend going there: - some rooms can be super small and then the huge furniture feels stressful - hotel is showing its age, especially regarding bathroom installations not working properly - hotel makes big promises not to have houskeeping disturb you ever, but we were woken by housekeeping...

We stayed here as a group sharing 3 rooms. The hotel is quirky and unique. Excellently located fir travel, sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking! The hotel was in hip location, which is very good. Lots of trendy shop around, and also cafe too. The underground just around the corner. The room size also good too. But the room was not so clean, we can see dust on top of the lamp and hair on the floor.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
