Apartment was clean and spacious with modern decor. Location was good - close to public transport and very central. Staff were fine, but reception always seemed busy! We didn't eat in the hotel bar/restaurant, but it looked pretty stylish. Would consider Adina apartments for future holidays.

After 5 weeks travel in Europe, 6 days in Berlin was a real highlight. This hotel was a big part of helping as it is in a great location with plenty of public transport very close by. The hotel is clean, reasonably friendly BUT I am only giving it a medium rating. I don't like marking a place down without...

Beds are comfortable, breakfast offers freshly made eggs, fruit salad and good coffee and bread. The service is very friendly. They only could serve more variety of cutlery, cheese and cakes. Rooms are quite big and quiet towards the inner courtyard. If anything is broken in the room, it will be fixed quite fast. Gym is very small.

Great room, well equipped with all you might need need. Brilliantly located near train stations and dining opportunities. Only down side was when using the whirl pool area, changing rooms had intolerable drainage smell, which put us off using them again!

The Hotel has Australian photos and prints ( and perhaps an Australian manager?). We found the staff very helpful. A supermarket is close by and and it was so good to be able to buy cereal, fruit, yogurt ( for breakfast) and have our predinner wine and nibblies in our room rather than opt for the more expensive services of...

The 'free' wifi is unusable. I had to almost sit in the hallway to get the weakest of signals. Don't expect to get any signal laying on the bed or in your room. If you complain, they will recommend you pay for a premium wifi option which isn't cheap. To the positives, good location near the train station, clean room...

A very good hotel with excellent facilities. Close to several supermarkets with many good restaurants and bars a short walk away. Easy access to tourist attractions. Many are within walking distance but varied transport links are literally on the door step. We had a peaceful and chilled out stay

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
