The hotel is not great. It's old, and service is mediocre. Breakfast was low quality and felt like airport lounge. Plenty of other quality options in the area so simply no need to stay here unless you have to.
Ideal location walking distance from KeDeWe department store and the Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten station. The concierge was top notch. The room was beautiful with a superb bed (very comfortable) and well stocked bathroom. The building is an old-world classical building of Old Europe. I didn't...More
Friendly and speedy check-in after dropping bags at entrance. Room was modern, very quiet and spacious enough. Bags were waiting for me when I arrived at my room. Amenities far outstripped what I required with a good-sized desk facing the Westward window. The bed and...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
