I would like to say a big thank you for the great hospitality the Kempinski staff have shown me and my friend during our stay there from the 14th-16th of December. The room was fantastic and very cosy and you have done a great job with it's renovation. Victoria at breakfast was wonderful. She always reserved a table for us...

The Bristol hotel is a very elegant high class hotel that completely fulfils the expectations of a 5 star hotel. It starts with the valet parking and very attentive receptionist outside of the hotel who handed over umbrellas right away since it was raining. The lobby is a very large and elegant area with couches and a bar on the...

My wife and I stayed at the Kempinski Bristol. Normally we stay at the Adlon, but as we've never been at the Bristol, we wanted to try it out. The level was difficult to top, but the Bristol did a very good Job. Great welcome, fast check-in, Concierge-Service worked well and the room (945) was fresh and clean and high...

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel; the location was great and the junior suite we stayed in was of a nice size. The beds were comfortable and everything was kept very clean. The only thing I did not enjoy was the attitude of one of the restaurant staff who was not nice nor professional in dealing not just with...

Very good location. No argues. Service is average. Pool and SPA average. Standard rooms are very small. Not much space left from the bed which is not king size either. The bathroom got flooded a few times when I turned on the water faucet till the end in the baththub. Seems like water gets in the room you if you...

I have just returned from a 4 night break in Berlin and stayed at the Kempinski. It's an impressive hotel which makes you feel very special when you first walk in. I stayed in a deluxe room which was a good size, had a good view, cleaned every day and they even came in the evening to make up the...

Kempinski has been there for years- you can feel the adult atmosphere which is a bit boring, but at the same time you feel the quality. Rooms are rather small, but bed, pillow and blanket is same good quality as the carpet and noice reduction

This is our second visit and we liked as much as the firts time. The hotel is conveniently located a 30-minute ride on bus 109 (2.70 euros per person) from Tegel airport. The swimming pool is magnificent. There is a mini gym that is indeed mini. Our room was spotlessly clean like the rest of the hotel and very comfortable....

A very good quality hotel as expected of the Kempinski hotel chain. Room well designed and carpentry really well done, if a little small. The let down is, as read in many reviews, the breakfast offering. At 27 euros per head, more is expected than just champagne and salmon at the buffet bar. Breakfast room was too crowded, although looking...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
