This hotel is not the most exciting décor wise but I would recommend it. Room was plain but it had plenty of room in it and had a very good shower. Buffet breakfast was pretty good. Plenty of choice although I was disappointed to only...More
My wife and I, along with our two teenage sons stayed at the Hotel for three nights. We were already aware that the hotel did not have air con - it would have been nice, though the fan was pretty much adequate.

thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again very soon.
The hotel was a gem in the Friedrichshain area of east Germany. There's a park opposite the hotel which is nice for a picnic. Also within walking distance to a train, bus & tram. The area around the hotel has very nice restaurants & bars....More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
