We stayed in Abacus Tierpark hotel for a night during our stay in Berlin. Hotel is very well connected to publlic transport (tram and U-bahn) so it is not problem to reach it. It is very big hotel. First potential problem is check-inn - possible only after 3 PM. Rooms are big and clean as well as bathroom. Internet is... More

The room was large and clean. The beds were hard, though, and there was only a single coverlet which was either too hot or too cold if you kicked it off (typical these days). The bathroom was fairly large, too. They were able to give us an ironing board and iron. The wifi was fast and free but there could... More

We stayed here for 3 nights when on a coach holiday with National Holidays. The hotel was clean, but the staff were either rude or had a couldn't care less attitude. In general the food was okay, but as we were with a holiday company we were given no choice of menu. You pay for WiFi, but wasn't expensive, but... More

The lunch buffet was really simple, without many choices and it didn't look very inviting. The meat offer was only pork and one type of fish and for the dessert they only had ice cream and a few cookies. The service was friendly, but not outstanding. The price for the buffet was around 19€

Clean room, polite staff. Rooms OK but not up to 3 stars. Thus mattresses and a "cold" feeling about the place. Dining was confusing as the buffet didn't flow as well as other hotels...and there was a strange smell in some if the rooms. Hairdryer didn't work.

Hotel has big rooms and helpful staff. Not far away from city centre and a walking distance to a nice zoo. It is cheap to have a wifi connection for a week. Few stops by metro to alexanderplatz. A supermarket nearby which is very convenient.

A bit run down in the old East Berlin a couple of blocks from the train station. Trouble is you can only go about two stops on the train and then you have to change trains because of work on the rail line which will probably last forever. Very confusing. Don't forget to change trains even when someone tells you... More

Stayed for 2 nights mainly because of relatively cheap rate. Hotel is a bit dated and way off-center. Staff was friendly and room was clean and accommodating. They don't have AC in the room and even though evening was relatively cool, the room was very hot. They also would not exchange USD to Euro so make sure you have cash... More

Berlin Lichtenberg is not the nicest place of Berlin, so in this way the hotel surprised us. Very nicely and spacious obviously used by business trips and coach holidays (lot of retired people in). Hotel rooms were clean but oldfashioned. No AC, paid WiFi (which I really don't appreciate anymore in 2016, it's like paying extra for tap water). Comfortable... More
