I really liked the hotel: the rooms were very clean, looked recently renovated and the breakfast was really top. The rooms are very small but rather normal when you stay in the centre of Berlin. Around the corner you find restaurant Spitteleck: very good restaurant with a nice and warm interior. Not expensive at all. We went there three times...

Stayed here for Easter break and had no issues whatsoever with the hotel. Nice breakfast, well situated, modern and clean. Maybe the room was quite small, particularly the the wardrobe. I believe is well situated, with a near tube stop.

Stayed here for New Year and had no issues whatsoever with the hotel, staff or the room. Our room was modern, clean and warm. Breakfast was a typical continental affair that you have to pay for, but the food itself was nice enough. The hotel is located a bit 'out there' in the middle of nowhere (in relation to Berlin sights...

The position of the hotel is not ideal if you like walking to bars, restaurants and other attractions.Yes the tube station is near, but it requires several changes to get to various hot spots. The hotel was booked via booking.com and we had no idea that the rooms are suitable for 1 not 2. If 2 stay you have to pay additional...

Rooms are small but very clean and tight. The room contains everything you need, shower is better than at home and the bed is soft. The hotel has turkish owners so breakfast is abundant. Location is perfect, within walking distance of a lot of sights and the metro network for other sightseeing. We'd definitely recommend this place!

Staff was super friendly and flexible to my requests. Rooms are super small. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast is very good. Location is not that central in my opinion - this is at the end of the Mitte. Great restaurant. I stayed at the business room, well design as promised.

It is close to all major hotspots of the city. Easy accesable by u-bahn or s-bahn. People are friendly and helpfull. The room however was on the poor side. Very...

8 of us visited and had 4 twin rooms.. yes they are compact, but with no intention of stopping in them they were fine. Clean and tidy with a decent shower. Breakfast was excellent- huge variety and help yourself, the 24 hr bar was also very handy (apologies for keeping your staff working into the wee small hours!).

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
