Good place but parking and internet not included. Internet is very expensive (18.00 Euro per day or evenmore , if you pay per minute or hour. well located. Beside a shopping center with everything inside. The room is very small.

Stayed beginning of Sept for 4 nights we had booked on line with a discount for 4nights so were pleasantly surprised when we had a good room on 20th floor with spectacular view of Alexanderplatz and the TV Tower. We had arrived early but our room was ready, Rather bemused at the shower and wash area but a curtain did...

My wife and stayed here last November for the start of the Xmas markets, the hotel was chosen out of luck rather than judgement and what great luck it was! Having flown into Berlin the train journey took about 20 minutes and we were amazed at how close to the train station the hotel was. Check in was swift and...

I travelled alone to Berlin, as I have done in many other European Cities as a tourist interested in history. East Berlin is a very strange place. I didn't like it much. I find the people in general both inside the hotel and in restaurants and shops around the hotel incredibly rude. The hotel feels like a shopping centre. especially...

I am no longer counting, but I visit Berlin once a year and sometimes once every two years and always stay here. The location can't be topped with easy access to just about everywhere in Berlin (Taxi from airport at night around 25 Euros, bus during the day just over 2 Euros or a day ticket for all Berlin routes...

The hotel is easy to get to, easy to find, right beside good shopping and restaurants. 2 min walk to the "space needle" , 2 min to all transit systems U-bahn, S-bahn, and street cars. Stayed 3nights, good breakfast, reception was helpful. Concierge and bellboys were top. Just keep in mind the hotel is located in old East Berlin, and...

We had a great time here on holiday. Rooms are compact but really well done and the location is perfect for seeing the city. Most of the fun of Berlin is in the East, and the Park Inn is in the perfect location. Highly recommend popping up to Prenzlauer Berg for breakfast from here.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
