I celebrated my 21st birthday in Berlin with my boyfriend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at New Berlin. With great access to the SBahn and Trams, we were able to visit lots of different spots around Berlin.

The Newberlin hotel is in a residential area and will not give you a feeling of being where it all happens. This doesn't have to be a bad thing, depending on what you want.

I live around the corner and this is my go-to hotel for guests. It might not be in the most happening part of Berlin, but it's in a nice up and coming neighborhood, and close to parks, S-bahn, u-bahn and trams.

This is a great hotel for families. Spacious, apartment-like rooms. Great staff! The hotel is well connected to public transport. Good facilities like sauna and spa, with a cosy resturant. The hotel is well priced for a 4 star establishment. Great breakfast.

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
