The hotel is located in a city center, very close to the metro station (U-Bahn Bülowstraße), and a walkable distance to Kudamm and also to the Potsdamer Platz. The rooms are of normal size and quite clean (we took standard double room). The bathroom is also clean but a bit small. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Check in and...

We stayed in this hotel for one week during Berlin Film Festival. The location is great (metro station across the street, plenty of cheap places where to eat and drink nearby, super-easy to reach with night bus service), the hotel is basic but clean, the staff is moderately helpful (they printed tickets for me more than once, but it took...

Good rooms with lights besides the beds! No extra service as kettle, refrigerator etc., and expensive breakfast (13 Euro), but we had what was needed for 2 nights. Lots of prostitutes in the area, and one night we were awakened by knocking on the door at 3 o`clock. 2 prostitutes went to the wrong room. So it spoiled the sleep....

I liked this hotel because it had really comfortable beds and the showers are lovely. The thing that I like most about the rooms is that it felt very big which is a big factor to me. The free WIFI is also very good and easy to access. The only bad thing is that there is an additional charge for...

But the Hotel when I booked (liked all the other ones on this trip) was with Breakfast inclueded. However came morning and we paid more for Breakfast then we pay for our...

Big rom, clean and tidy. A bit old-fashioned, but does that matter? I missed a kettle. The service was good. Friendly staff. Central Berlin, and only two minutes walk to the sub. Lots of eating places nearby. The breakfast was ok, standard hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days at the beginning of Jannuary. It is an average hotel. The room was big enough for 4 people. It was clean. Chalk one up for the breakfast plentiful and rich. you can find everything for a good start to your day.

First things first - this hotel is cheap (and who doesn't like cheap?). The twin room was a decent size. There's not much in the local area but the hotel is right next to a station so it's really easy to travel around Berlin from here. You could walk into central Berlin in about 40 minutes if you so desired...

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
