Great hotel and thoroughly recommend a stay here. I couldn't fault it - great value, nice breakfast, comfy bed and luxury fittings. I've stayed here a couple of times now and apart from the dreaded queue at check in it really does serve up a consistent quality experience.

We stayed here two nights shortly into the New Year of 2017. The room was definitely 5 stars as was the hotel. There is nothing to be said, but good when it comes to a Waldorf Astoria property. Was conveniently located within Berlin to all the main area's. Just a short trip away from the Brandenburg Gate, among shopping area's...

Stayed just for two days here, but loved it. Nice view over the the city and the Zoo, large room, very helpfull stuff. As you can imagine, it’s not a bargain, but well worth it. Everything just works. Decent breakfast with lots of varieties, employees serving fresh smooties and juices of all kinds. Children’s corner at breakfast room makes parents...

Waldorf Berlin hotel is a nice hotel with decent rooms, however the attitude of certain front desk staff ( especially the tall girl with brown hair) is really a problem. No greetings nor smile, each time I approached the front desk during my stay I greeted her first and she just replied coldly with a "yes?" Made me feel very...

We spent a couple of nights here shortly after the terrible incident in December 2016. The room was very nicely appointed. Service was good. Check out experience was lengthy and staff got bill details wrong, but eventually worked out.

My expectations were surpassed. Our suite was oversized, pristine with great views. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel was central to the train, shopping, bars and restaurant. Loved our stay at the hotel and Berlin. Highly recommend.

For our first two nights in Berlin, we booked a room at the Waldorf Astoria and could not have asked for a better stay. From the moment we arrived, to the time we departed, we felt completely relaxed and at ease. Arriving at Berlin Schoenefeld airport, we opted to take the S-Bahn to Bahnhof Zoologischer station: an approx. 45 minute...

I stayed at Waldorf Astoria from January 1st to 2nd in room 914 - a so called deluxe room with a king size bed. (see pictures) Positive: + Location + modern rooms, even though room 914 was more a superior room than a deluxe room + service people were welcoming and swift + very nice view over Berlin West from...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
