Hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Bar closes quite early though, would have thought a Hotel in the City was timeless! Rooms are a little small but bathroom/wet room makes up for that. Breakfast very good quality and wide selection to choose from. Great location, close to tram stops and U6 underground makes Hotel ideal. I would stay again.

Lovely hotel . Near the U6 metro stop, 10 min walk to the main train station(Hautbanof). A short walk or one stop on U bann for restaurants and bars. Very helpful reception staff , and nothing was too much trouble . We had a twin comfort room that came with a kettle and a small minibar . We had room...

Stayed with my Girlfriend for a long weekend and was exactly what we needed. Great location, clean rooms and a very comfy bed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to any couples visiting Berlin. One negative - don't buy water from the hotel bar. One bottle cost me 6 Euros!! There is a supermarket next door, I'd recommend...

A nice hotel with pleasant and friendly staff. Pretty clean and quiet room. Good wi-fi (hard to find in Berlin public places). A little too small room for a 4 star hotel and the breackfast was pretty good the same every day.

A good quality hotel close to the U-Bahn and within walking distance of the magnificent new Berlin Hauptbahnhof which is suggestive of a busy city airport. The hotel had all amenities we needed for a two night stay and the room, although small, was ok. As it was exceptionally hot in September when we there it would have been helpful...

Only after checking out I discovered an unusual issue: The hotel charged me for the stay not in Euros, as the invoice indicated, but in my country’s currency based on an exchange rate that made my payment 2.6% higher than my credit card company would have charged me for the transaction of the same amount from Euro to my currency....

The hotel was well kept and I found the staff very accomodating. My son sprained his ankle just the day of the trip and nightly I was able to go to bar and get ice for his ankle. Location was not too far from the main museums and found the underground trains to be easy to use and made distances...

We stayed 4 nights. Our room was spotlessly clean and looks brand new. The breakfast was tasty and had enough variety with fresh ingredients. The service was excellent. Very convenient location. 20minutes walk to bradenburg gate, potsdamplatz, reishtag. Higly recommended. Definetely would visit again

Nice, clean and good AC. Nice table to do some evening work and free uncomplicated internet. Fairly low prices for what you get. The room was quiet and ok. Location is good as a lot of Berlin things are literally around the corner. Booked a non smoking room and all was ok.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
