This 4 star hotel is located in the very nice place near park and very close to the city center. Hotel staff provides excellent service. Breakfest is served in the restoran with summer terrace and the view through franch type windows is very nice in any season. Breakfest is more than OK. Rooms is quite small but good furnished.

We've stayed many places throughout Europe with our young family, and this was the best for me in terms of value for quality. The family room was spacious (it slept 4 easily) and clean. Breakfast was included and it was excellent. We also had dinner there one night and it was reasonably priced and better than average for a hotel....

We stayed in this hotel back in April 2011 because we used to live in Boetzowviertel back in the days so kind of wanted to reminisce and soak in the atmosphere from the area again. It didn't disappoint us! The hotel is very nice and surprisingly affordable. Most of all, they serve various ranges of continental breakfast, and taste very...

We had a great four night stay and at a very decent price. Location was good. Just a few minutes from Alexanderplatz by either bus or tram yet right opposite a fine park giving the opportunity to escape the frenetic pace of the city. The room was large and well presented and with everything one needed. The bathroom was large...

This is a comfortable and not so expensive hotel in Berlin. Perfect for a bussines trip or a weekend. It's close to a wonderful park, and at walking distance to Alexander Platz (the centre). The staff is kind, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Good choice!

Located opposite a park and just a few minutes walk from tram stop (you can buy transport tickets at reception which is handy). Very pleasant hotel. Good value for money. Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from. Spacious, quiet room (we had one facing the courtyard). Very professional, courteous staff. The only minor negative would be the pillows (they are...

Satayed with wife and two small children end of June early July in a junior suite with two foldable beds and kitchenette. Great value, German efficiency with minimum friendly staff. Inner garden great for a cigar and relaxation with kids, reasonably priced restaurant with good food, 10min away from alexanderplatz by bus, excellent breakfast.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
