stayed there during ITB, therefore rate was rather high (Euro 175,00 including taxes) for the quality / service of this property: - Good location on Kurfürstendamm - simple three star property, lobby reached after use of elevator - room tidy and spacious, unspectacular and basic furniture and decoration - small and old school television - small shower / bathroom -...

I decided to book Hotel Comet because it's located on Ku'damm one important and busy avenue in Berlin. It's really close to the Adenaurplatz U-Bahn station and there are some restaurants close to it. Despite its great location, the hotel fares are not exorbitant. For a room with shower and toilet facilities I paid 49 euros (one night). Including breakfast,...

The hotel was very clean. Our room was in a corner and had en-suite facilities and a small balcony. Plenty of hot water. The only downside was that the plug did not work in the sink and the TV was a little to high on the wall. If you want to use the hairdryer, the plug is under the light...

Our room was nice - it was spacious. The breakfast was also good and the location is good, right by Adenaeurplatz U-Bahn. But this place is a middle ground between a hostel and a hotel. The double bed was actually two twins pushed together with two seperate, really thin blankets....in 2 degree weather in November! The furniture was a bit...

We picked Hotel Comet out of many in our price range because it looked so 'belle epoque'. We imagined the rooms would be furnished as comfortably and grandly as the reception area. But to our disappointment the rooms were entirely ordinary: very small, and furnished with cheap, plasticky, old-fashioned fittings. Sound transmission from the adjacent rooms and the corridor was...

1) They cheat with room prices. When I booked a room last year from www.booking.com, I got the price, which was 15% bigger than official price listed in their Internet site. When I booked a room this year directly, the price was 25% bigger than official price listed in their Internet site. 2) Very, very noisy, impossible to sleep: both...

We had a good experience at this hotel. Our room was a twin -bed double standard and although on the small side, it was fine for us as we spent most of our time out sightseeing. The shower room, included a wash basin and toilet which was, as mentioned in another review, in-room rather than en-suite. This was not a...

It is a primitive place - a townhouse cheaply turned into a hotel - very thin walls and water that turns cold at 08.30. We went (unknowingly) in the messe period - so had to pay an average of 150 euro a night for a minimal twin room with shower (not en-suite but in-room!) without WC. We were forced to...

I think the other reviews are spot on. This place is definitely not fancy, and in the heat wave when I was there, it was a little unpleasant getting to sleep. But, that's the case everywhere. It had everything in the room, a super small bathroom but that was ok for me. I thought the breakfast was really excellent, actually,...
