We(2 people) stayed here for 3 nights at Feb.2014. This place was really nice. The room was really nice, clean and calm(It depends on your neighbor). Most impressive thing was price. It costs around 50$ totally(2 people and 3 nights). But there's one thing that can not acceptable is... there's no free-wifi here. Even though using public PC in the...

Good & clean hostel. Also secure, with its own security. Good value for the money you pay, since I used it for 5 days. Located in a cool area of Berlin, and very good connection with U, Bus and M. I recommend it!

stayed here with three friends feb 10-13th, Checked in at the hostel ok. our room was bigger than our friends room because we were on the corner. had our own shower and stuff which was great. Location wasn't great took about 40 minutes to walk to east side gallery, and had to get taxis every night to good part of...

The place itself wasn't too bad. We booked a twin room but instead we were given a 7 bed dorm (which wasn't a problem for be but I would rather be given what I actually paid for). The room was clean and warm, so I really can't complain. The breakfast was pretty basic but satisfying. People at the reception desk were...

Recently stayed in a 1 bed room in this hostel, almost booked a hotel but thought I'd go for the cheaper option. Quite annoyed at myself for doing so and have ended up checking out two days early and booking into an amazing apartment for my final two days in Berlin. The reason being: - It was full of screaming...

Me and my best friend (both born -88) stayed here in February 2012. It was a bit overpriced price in my opinion. The bar wasn't open a single time during our 5 day trip and the rooms were quite cold. The staff was ok, not more. This is a great place for school trips or bigger groups. But if you...

We went to this hotel on 30th of October. We arrived at about 10:30am and check in was at 2pm, which was quite annoying but it gave us time to have a look around. There is an AMAZING burger place next door to the hostel which has the best chips! The rooms were very basic, but we weren't really expecting...

We wanted somewhere cheap, clean, comfortable and in a good location. That is what we got. Stayed in a twin room with a bathroom. Room clean. Bathroom clean. Sheets clean. We stayed Monday to Thursday in December. It was quiet at night. That might be because it wasn't very busy. I'd say this was more of a cheap hotel than...

...then this is a ok place to stay. The rooms are perfectly fine and on suit. The location is good but it's a place for school trips or larger groups. Free wifi and free breakfast. If you are just going to sleep there, then it's perfectly fine.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
