I stayed here for two weeks last year and really enjoyed it. The location is perfect - very close to the central part of Berlin. It wasn't noisy, and I didn't hear the nearby clubs at all, even though I slept with the windows open. My apartment was clean and comfortable (and huge). The restaurant downstairs was delicious and cheap....

The apartments are in a original century old building (recently renovated) and are spacious with high ceilings and are located just a few blocks from Museum Island in the south and the lovely neighborhood of Prenzlauerberg in the north. It was an extremely lovely area and the apartments are perfect fro a few days stay. I am rethinking ever staying...

I stayed with OTA from monday-thursday in april. This was my first time staying in a serviced apartment and mostly I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were really spacious and light. In our first room there was a problem with the plumbing, we went to reception and the staff apologised and gave us keys for another apartment straight away. The...

On arrival, they were very helpful and gave us some great advice on what areas to visit. Apartments are 1min from Rosa-Luzemburg U-Bahn stop, with is one stop from...

We just needed a couple of days in Berlin and were delighted to find these departments. The office was really helpful in finding the right one with quick replies to e-mails. Being on the fourth floor kept us fit but we knew what was coming. This was so much better than being in a hotel room and also in a...

We stayed 3 nights on the apartment last June and our global experience has been good. Best points are: location (lovely neighbourhood, full of restaurants), apartments dimensions, quite big, and Wifi On the other hand: there is no elevator and our room was on 4th floor and also on the street there are some pubs, so it’s noisy on weekend...

We stayed in one of the Old Town Apartments for three days at the end of a two week holiday in Germany. Initially we were a little disappointed when we walked into the apartment because it didn't look quite as pristine and glamorous as the photos on the website and the previous incumbents had obviously enjoyed a fish supper before...

Choose old town apartments for a group of 12 heading to Berlin for a stag weekend. We paid roughly 40 euros a night each which was a fantastic price when compared to staying at a hotel. Apartments were big & clean and and gave you more privacy than a hotel would. The staff we just saw on arrival and departure...

My husband, 1 and my 23 year old son had a two night stay here from the 15th to 17th December. We booked directly with the OTA and paid 65 euro a night, which we found very reasonable for the 3 of us. Booking directly at the hotel you can book for a particular apartment and we chose the Allan...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
