Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a long weekend trip to Berlin. The room was a decent size and the bed was extremely comfortable, best I've ever experienced at a hostel! The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere at the hostel in the evenings was positive. On our first morning we has breakfast, a mix of cereal,...

My girlfriend surprised me with a trip to Berlin for my birthday, staying here for 2 nights. We had our own room which was small but perfect for what we needed. Shared showers and bathrooms which seemed fine. Staff were helpful and the location of this hostel is great, just a short walk to Alexanderplatz station!

Advantages: -I arrived 2 hours before the check-in time and they gave me the bed 1 hour before the actual check-in time. So I checked in at 13.00 (instead of 14) I thought, it was overbooked, but when I entered - there were 6 free beds in the room and there are more than 20 rooms like that I think....

This place ticked all the boxes for us: awesome location, fair price, clean, good wifi, cheap and cheerful. It also felt really safe with two points where you had to scan your card before you reached the rooms. I feel like some of the bad reviewers may have been expecting a hotel service for a hostel price. We were just...

The place doesn't accept cash for some reason and the wifi is unreliable. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING and constantly smell with no soap. The showers are weak and only stay on for a few seconds at the time. We stayed for a few nights and suffered because of the noise. The worst night was the last where they let about...

Okay, it's a hostel, but every worker there are sweet and attentive. The place is clean, good location, bathrooms are clean too, silent neighborhood Don't expect too much, it's not a Hotel, but as a Hostel this one is 10/10.

Fantastic location right near central Alexanderplatz. Big common room with good deals on food and drinks. Clean rooms and reasonably clean bathrooms. Staff incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful. They gave me great suggestions on where to go based on what I liked and how to get there. Reception even circled metro stops on my map and suggested lines to get...

The hostel is located right in the center of Berlin. Most of the turistic places are quite close to it, even by walking. An even some markets for buying your own stuff, banks, places to eat and a lot of bars. My room was for 8 people. The beds are comfortable enough for sleeping and at least I didn't have...

The location of the hostel is just perfect. It's really easy to reach the hostel because they e-mail you which transport to use from the train/bus station, airport, ect. The rooms are clean and there is a nice breakfast in a decent price. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have kitchen and fridge at all, the...

I stayed at this hostel with my friend for 3 nights and sadly I can't recommend this place. We had a 6 bed room, which is actually very spacious with a table in the middle, High School lockers and couple of plugs around the room. The decoration/atmosphere is so simple that it makes the room not that enjoyable. Even though,...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
