This hotel is well located, within walking distance of many of the main sights and close to public transport links. It is also close to where you can take river trips. The hotel is stylish and our room was lovely. The bathroom was beautiful. There is a safe in the rooms; also slippers and robes. The only thing missing was...

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Room was lovely, clean and modern. Staff helpful and attentive and the hotel was excellently located for touring Berlin. The train/underground station was situated directly across the road which was huge bonus. Great hotel in an amazing city! Top marks!

From the computer system the receptionist couldn't see all the details of reservation. Quest have to sen additional information with e-mails and that causes extra work for quests and even after that some details were not found.

Hotel conveniently situated for seeing most sights and were able to walk to most. Ate in tapas bar several times as my Hubble used to live in Spain and they were delicious and good value. Lobby bar was not most comfortable place for a relaxing drink, odd lighting. Overall we had a good stay.

The room was spotlessly clean and a really good size. Bed was very comfy and shower excellent. The hotel bar is cool and relaxed. The location is great with good public transport links and easy walking to the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and Unter den Linden.

Lovely Hotel in a great location. Loved the newly refurbished bar area for that first or last drink of the evening. Everything you could possibly want on the breakfast menu. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Ask for a quiet room away from the road. 10/15 minute walk from most locations. 3/4 minute walk from Friedrichstrasse Train Station. Lots of nice...

Excellent reasonably priced hotel. Well positioned for visiting this historic city. Close enough to walk to most sites of interest and museums and also well placed for the excellent transport links. Breakfast was on a 2 for 1 offer which made it even better value. The choices were varied and excellent quality.

For a short city break, this is a great hotel to stay in. Not only is it close to a range of local amenities, but many of the main landmarks are all within walking distance and the trains and trams run a very reliable service. The beds and bathroom were comfortable and homely, although there were some initial issues with...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
