Terrible hotel, situated right above erotic cinema, sounds filtering in the hallway. Internet was not working in the room, safety deposit not working, TV not working, housekeeping left door unlocked. We got only 1 key, but needed two keys. Management did not ever respond to verbal- and written complaints, I waited 4 days before response, but never got any before...

Staff - Very rude and insensitive staff at the reception. Location - Right next to an adult store. But not an unsafe location as such. Wifi - Doesn't work at all. Unless you are standing by the door! So if you plan to work and need wifi, this is not a place Safe / Locker - It is listed as...

After you get past the sex shop, you'll walk up 6 flights of stairs in an unlit stairway to reach the "lobby" where the "receptionist" will demand that you turn over your passport in order to get the keys to the room that you have prepaid for using a credit card. When you get into the dirty room, you'll find...

The hotel has a minimalist service but the room is clean and clear, the bathroom is working well with good hot water. But don't expect any extra. The black point is the internet connection which was totally deficient. In my room 304, it was impossible to connect at all. When going to the "lobby" at the 7 floor, it is...

My and my director were at the IFA conference in Berlin. That was really awful to choose this hotel. We have paid for the hotel from the corporate credit card, when we have booked the room, but when we came we needed to feel out the card details and show the copy of the id of the card holder, which...

Clean, closer to metro station, closer to bike-rentals, unexpensive. No breakfast but a few places around available. Privacy is a must, elevator available, big bathroom and shower, big light rooms. Essentially essentials !!

As you do not pass the reception on your way to your room, you can be very private while staying in Berlin at this "hotel". I did not choose to have the breakfast, so I meet the reception only while checking in and checking out. Normally check out at 10:00 a.m. and with 20 euros I got it moved to...

We have booked a triple room, but because of a mistake at the hotel the room wasn't available anymore. They didn't contact us and when we arrived we have been told that it was a pity for us and that we had to leave. The lady at the reception was terrible. She was yelling at us and wasn't even trying...

This is in regards to the stay at this hotel from the 15th to 19th October 2015 at Room No 205 Below mentioned are some of the most dreadful experiences that I wish to recount 1. The Lady at the Reception is not worthy of being called a receptionist, She needs an advance course in hospitality and etiquette. Everything that...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
