Average hostel, but convenient location near the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The rooms were clean and only have a shower, which is a bit annoying to use as you must press the button every 20 seconds or so to continue using the water so as...More
Great central location for exploring Berlin, we had a studio room with kitchenette and bathroom. The room had a safe, which wasn't working, it was free and the staff came and opened it manually every morning, they were very apologetic. I found the staff friendly...More
The hostel is in a good position close to the city centre and all the tourist sites and some cool bars and restaurants.
We had booked a 5 bed private room between three of us, this seemed to flummox the receptionist who insisted we either...More
We had a comfortable 4 bed room, with separate shower room. We also had our own toielt, but this involved a trip back into the corridor. Reception was efficient and they had English speaking staff available. We used the bar as well, beer prices were...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
Hi, I decided to take a taxi from Schonefield as it was relatively cheap and journey was about 30 minutes. i am not sure about the other airport. The airport had a bus service too which would probably be cheaper.
