A group of us stayed here June 2012. The receptionist spoke poor English and was not very friendly. The location is not in central Berlin, the nearest train station is about a 15 minute walk away. Rooms are ok, a little old. We started in...More
I booked this hotel through Booking.com, I booked 1 comfort apartment as Booking.com showed photos of a nice spacious bedroom and a nice spacious living room and it was clearly written that "Comfort apartments feature 2 bathrooms". I liked the photos and booked 1 Comfort...More
Certainly not the best hotel I have stayed in but it was clean and in a good location and good value for money. I was asked to pay upon arrival which was a bit strange but all in all very happy with it.

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
