The area is pittoresque with deep forests, sweet villages and Lovely lakes. The main building has a fantastic restaurant with tasty, harty German food, and a cozy bar. The buildings where the bedrooms are located are a bit box-like.

We have been at the academy for our 1st anniversary. After arriving by boat we checked in at the reception in the main house which is a very nice building from 1920. The restaurant has a high quality. Our hotel room in the close building was more like a room in high class hostels, here I lose my 5th star....

Nice place closer to a small lake and nice river channels surrounded by forest and flowers is a perfect place to organize meeting all levels. Meeting rooms are light and wifi network work very well. Coffee break during the morning and in the afternoon are simply excellent as the food served inside or outdoor in the balcony. Personnel are well...

We (three work colleagues) arrived here late (11pm) one evening having pre-booked. Despite the hour the front desk was staffed by a friendly and welcoming woman speaking flawless English (always a bonus when you arrive half-asleep!). One room was in the main building, the other two in the adjacent annex. The two singles whilst being fairly small were spotlessly clean...

This is a cosy hotel located next to a charming lake ideal for seminars and hideaway weekends. It hosts a number of functional seminar rooms. We had a great stay there - except that there is surely room for improvement as far as the service mentality is concerned. Staff could easily be much friendlier.

Die Akademie Schmöckwitz is a great conference location for smaller conferences, with an excellent and very helpful staff. In summer it would also be a wonderful place for long walks and water sports. Internet is not yet fully reliable broadband, but the management knows that, and prepares to improve. The seminar rooms could do with a good VMC, but windows...

This is a lovely old house that has been converted to a venue for business meetings and workshops, although it also functions as a full service hotel. Rooms are large and spotless, if not quite luxurious, the restaurant offers decent buffet meals (I've never tried the a la carte) and there's a cosy bar. But the hotel's real selling point...

I have been coming to this hotel for over five years as lecturer and each time I love this place. Located at the very South-East of Berlin right at the border to Brandenburg its the former home of a German industrialist. The location is magnificent and directly at the lake shore (hence "Swimming Pool 5 star"). The hotel owns a...
